EmJay07 is one such example. He previously declared that he personally testifies that TVI Express does have a code of conduct, and violators are kicked out, even though he can't prove it beyond his own testimony, or produce such a "code of conduct" that is publicly viewable.
Then he proceed to clone a TVI Express announcement, which, according to TVI Express website, one should NOT do. And when I pointed that out, he loudly proclaimed that he did it INTENTIONALLY.
Thus, according to himself, TVI Express should kick him out. Right? (or admit he lied about such code of conduct)
EmJay07, who published a counter-point to my blog here, cloned an TVI Express announcement on his blog with the following intro:
"Have a look at the announcement below I am copying for those who have not yet viewed it on TVI Express website."Here's a screenshot, in case he removes the announcement later.
And to prove it IS a clone, here's the screenshot of the TVI Express announcement:
When I pointed out that TVI Express has a "do not copy" sign at the bottom of the announcement page, his reply was:
"My last blog entry sure was copied from one of the announcements (about currently ongoing TVI Express Europe Boot Camp) by TVI Express on their website but DARN, my ardent critic Kasey Chang missed my comment right above the copied and pasted announcement which stated “Have a look at the announcement below I am copying for those who have not yet viewed it on TVI Express website” and mistook me for missing the end note from TVI Express."So he admits that his copy was DELIBERATE AND INTENTIONAL, not an accident. He claims it's okay to ignore the 'do not copy' as long as he is doing it to "help" TVI Express. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he did not see the "do not copy" sign, his reply was "I did see it, I did it any way".
So what does TVI Express say about this? From TVI Express website itself...
"... you may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or other materials on, or services obtained from, this site."A blog visible to the public is a copy, display, reproduction, publication, derivative work based on information obtained from TVI Express website. There is no doubt that EmJay07 himself has violated TVI Express terms and conditions.
But what does EmJay07 say about people who have violated terms and conditions (second to last comment), and promoted the business "in the wrong manner"?
"I personally know of many people who have been blocked or rather "kicked out" by TVI Express for promoting the business in a wrong manner"According to EmJay07's own words, he should be "blocked or rather kicked out" by TVI Express, for promoting the business in a wrong manner, i.e. stealing TVI Express content.
Talk about arguing in circles!
One last item... On his blog, EmJay07 wrote
"Any suggestions/comments would be sincerely welcomed."So I left him a comment, that my critique of his blog entry is up, and gave an URL to it.
Hey, EmJay07. Still at it? My critique of your blog post is up.

The comment was NEVER APPROVED. I'll do it again now, for evidence:
If this comment doesn't appear in 72 hours, we can conclude that EmJay07 lied about "comments always welcome".
EDIT: He approved the comment(s), but counter-argued that my "citing" other people's website is same as his wholesale copying. Guess he has never heard of "fair use"! Ha! See continuation here:

It's called a "moving target", folks. He can no longer argue the point that he did indeed violate TVI Express wishes, so he picks on something else.

Same goes with this

At lead that Blog didn't tried to claim that TVI Express actually have a code of conduct, and suggested penalties. :D
The truth is, the announcement copies are all over the net. Which makes you wonder about a few things:
1) If TVI Express WANTS them copied, why don't they just say so? TVI Express have modified their websites many times before, and whatever enabler for this would be minimal.
2) If TVI Express just want them linked, not copied, why would they intentionally hide the URL? (I know how to link to any announcement directly, but then I know Javascript pretty well)
3) Do TVI Express members actually read or even CARE about the terms and conditions that they supposedly agreed to?
4) Why haven't TVI Express done anything about all these copyright violations? Most TVI Express member sites are virtually directly copies of TVI Express website, esp. non-US sites. One of the Vietnamese TVI Express websites is IDENTICAL to the regular TVI Express website except it's been translated into Vietnamese, and some minor details changed.
More food for thought.
