More Hilarious TVI Express Member Sites that Stretches Truth to Breaking Point

Found a German Page that claims that TVI Express was actually a part of WCTravel!

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.geld-und-reisen.de/wer-ist-tvi.html&ei=R7dlTZvcO4ussAOWqfj7BA&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=2&ved=0CDMQ7gEwATge&prev=/search%3Fq%3DTVI%2BExpress%2Billegal%26start%3D30%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26tbo%3D1%26rlz%3D1C1GPCK_enUS321US322%26tbs%3Dqdr:w%26prmd%3Divns

A couple choice excerpts
These [partners] include: Avis, Lufthansa, Hertz, Marriott and many more
Then explain why Mallorca Zeitung said TVI Express was SUED by AVIS, Lufthansa, and Marriott?
A portion of the Board was of WCT World Travel Choise (http://www.wctravel.com) contracted to establish and manage TVI. WCT was founded in 1995 and is a world-making enterprise.
There is NO PROOF of this. In fact, WCTravel has an affiliate program that is free to join called "Travelocity Partner Program".

That's like an Amazon Associate claiming to be "backed by Amazon, the world's largest store"!  What utter poppycock!
On the side of Company House can be found by entering "TVI" under the number 00988876, the TVI Limited, a registered company.
There is NO PROOF that this "TVI Limited" is in any way related to "TVI Express". That company is based in Surrey, NOT London / Heathrow / Uxbridge / whereever TVI Express claims to be. In fact, TVI Express claims that they are NOT subject to UK law
No [TVI is not a pyramid scheme], TVI achieved even now millions. There are the product of travel in the online travel agency.
So just because it had ALLEGEDLY sold millions (their own claim, cannot be verified in any way) they must be legitimate? What a joke. Remember Bernard Madoff? He had BILLIONS in business. He's a fraud.

Absolutely hilarious at the sort of bull**** one can find about TVI Express.

Fahim in UAE writes in with a comment and question

at Federal Courthouse, 500 Pearl Street, lower...Image via WikipediaFahim (with IP address traced to UAE), commented on my hub:
If TVI Express is a scam and so called Owner/CEO Tarun Tirka is a fraud person then why is he roaming freely and continuing giving open presentations around the world. Why no authority has initiated any legal action against him and got him arrested.
The interesting part about TVI Express is it is a totally INTERNATIONAL scam, but the actual scams are perpetrated by LOCAL members. Thus, only LOCAL members can be prosecuted under LOCAL laws. Remember, Tarun Trikha is not recruiting anybody. It's the LOCAL people who are recruiting. Tarun Trikha is the cheerleader who is cheering you all to jump blindly into the scam. He had not committed any crime in a country that can convict him of fraud.

And that's exactly what happened in China and Australia. China had been arresting TVI Express members since July 2009, and Australia made an example of 3 members of "TVI Team Oz" in May 2010. However, the Australian case had still NOT concluded (i.e. the 3 had NOT been convicted, merely charged, and went to court).

Perhaps Tarun Trikha is the head of the snake, but how do you prove it to the satisfaction of the law? And in what court? Do you sue TVI Express in Indian Court, perhaps? Remember, jurisdiction ends at national border. Interpol is mainly after human traffickers and drug traffickers. They are not interested in a little alleged criminal like Tarun Trikha... if it can be proven at all.

That's why it's so risky when you trust an international company... If anything happens, you are left holding the bag, so to speak.
I know many people who had used TVI Express voucher redeemed online for booking with International Hotel Chain and they are all satisfied and happy. Infact some of them have purchased another hotel voucher for their next vacation.
Unfortunately, all that proves is that TVI Express CAN book some real trips. But that's about as useful as saying "I know many people who made a lot of money by investing in Bernie Madoff. In fact, some of them invested even MORE money in Bernie Madoff".

And we all know what happened to Bernie Madoff, right?

Dismantling yet ANOTHER Rudy Phan's Tviexpressdollar.com lie: TVI Express and Ponzi scheme

Crane Paper Company in Dalton produces the pap...Image via WikipediaRudy Phan loves to redefine truth in order to somehow prop up TVI Express. Previously he had redefined borders of London, left out a largest expense in TVI Express and use that as evidence to "prove" TVI Express can pay lots of money, claim TVI Express is halal even though he has no qualifications, claim TVI Express is NOT MLM directly against tviexpress.com wordings, claim it only takes 8 people to cycle out when it takes 14, and much more. Today, we will bust ANOTHER one of his lies: he claims TVI Express is NOT a Ponzi scheme. His article can be found here.

So what are his reasons supporting his hypothesis that TVI Express is NOT a Ponzi Scheme?
First of all, we need to realize that this ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment scheme. While TVI Express is not an investment, but business network. Therefore, there are no guarantees and certainty the time when a person or when a turnover to $ 10,000.
What Rudy Phan have done here is narrowed in on the words "fraudulent investment scheme", and claim "TVI Express is not investment!". Rudy Phan fails to notice that TVI Express operating model is later members funding earlier members, and that is the fundamental nature of a Ponzi scheme. Rudy Phan cannot disprove this, so he plays "word game" instead.

Furthermore, in a business transaction, you do work, you get paid. That is nature of business. You can suffer losses, fail to collect debt, bad customers, product shrinkage, and other costs, but those can be anticipated. However, what Rudy Phan said here is when you join TVI Express, you may not actually make $10000 (even if you do everything they ask of you). Is he describing a lottery or a business?

Madoff's Son Commits Suicide: What will India's Mini-Madoff, Tarun Trikha do?

Bernard Madoff's son Mark Madoff committed suicide today in New York by jumping off a building.

If you don't remember who Bernard Madoff is... look him up in Wikipedia.

One knows that scammers have no good ending, and their family will suffer, along with all the victims.

Tarun Trikha, supposedly the CEO of TVI Express, is sometimes referred to as Madoff of India (even though there's a few who's worse).

Who's going to suffer with Tarun Trikha when the pyramid comes crashing down?

CanTarun Trikha even speak for TVI Express?

I know Tarun Trikha already speaks for TVI Express, as he had been spotted at various TVI Express "conventions", meetings, and even conference calls. However, does he even have the legal right to? Is he a TVI Express employee? Or a TVI Express officer? If he is neither, would anything he say, wrote, or promised, worth anything? Or would they all be hearsay, personal opinions, and thus, be completely worthless?

Let us find out, based on publicly available information.

First of all, what is Tarun Trikha's official position in TVI Express? According to TVI Express, Tarun Trikha is an advisory board member. From the TVI Express website:

Okay, but what does an advisory board member actually do?

In other words, advisory board members are still distributors, and their job is to help other TVI Express distributors. They get some training, and they are sent to "represent" TVI Express on some functions. Is he employee of TVI Express? Does what he say actually count? Can he commit TVI Express to anything? If not, who can?

TVI Express and TVITeamOz plans strawman defense

TVITeamOz (the team being sued by Australian ACCC and halted operation), allegedly posted a rebuttal on an Indonesia TVI Express website. Instead of replicating it here, just go read it, then I'll show you how lousy their argument is.   http://www.kliktviexpress.com/pengumuman

(note: the Indonesian site got weasel-itis and erased the copy of the letter. Unfortunately, they kept a copy on facebook under the same name: pengumuman... so you can't hide!  http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=102721546436429&topic=62&post=272)

What they are doing is using the logical fallacy "strawman" for their defense. Let us pick it apart.

"They" (TeamTVIOz) wrote:
"A pyramid scheme is defined by following characteristics:
--> No product
--> Returns for investments
--> People only at the top make money and rest don’t. All late comers lose their money.
As per the WFDSA and any Direct Selling body, above mentioned are the points which define a Pyramid scheme."
This is already false. A search of WFDSA's website brought up this definition:
Numerous legislatures around the globe have proscribed pyramid selling. The wording of relevant statutes, codes, articles, acts, regulations and the like vary, but all contain the following core concept: A pyramid is a scheme in which a recruit pays (an entry fee) for the opportunity to receive future benefits (money or privileges) which are primarily derived from that recruit's (and/or subsequent recruits') introduction of additional participants in the scheme, rather than from the sale of products to consumers.
Thus, the scheme's rewards effectively come from the addition of new participants and their investments, not from the sale and distribution of real products to persons who actually use or consume them. No real trading in viable goods or services takes place, and the scheme essentially involves an internal redistribution of wealth from new entrants to the promoters. The scheme serves no legitimate commercial function. The only "trade" being carried on is actually in scheme participants' rights, and the redistribution of participants' entry fees or investments.
It's clear that TeamTVIOz is citing their imagination of what WFDSA says, instead of reality. They defined a "strawman" of pyramid scheme, defeated that strawman, and claim the argument has been defeated. They picked some characteristics of pyramid scheme that they do NOT have, say "we don't have that", and they conclude they're not a pyramid scheme. If they claim victory based on that, they will lose. It is as easy as that.

TVI Express owner: Tarun Trikha?

With my investigation of TVI Express, one name that keeps coming up is Tarun Trikha, resident of New Delhi, India.

If you look on TVIexpress.com, under "Advisory Board", you'll see his name under "India". At least one TVI Express "fan" site called him "Asia Pacific Head, TVI Express".

Further digging revealed he used to run an outfit called V2 Global. According to his own profile on MoneyMaker Group website, he specializes in Internet Marketing, and that is what V2 Global does. He had a website called CashYourPassion.com but that expired a while back.

On ConsumerComplaints of India he was named as one of the co-owners of TVI Express. While this is not exactly proof, it is one of the first real NAMES we have that is attached to the company. This item was repeated at an ex-TVI member memorial site. A "letter to editor" in India pointed to him as close to the top, if not THE top of TVI Express.

Then BrokerJones dropped a bombshell... he traced the money of TVI Express to a company called VisionTech in California. And Tarun Trikha, according to BrokerJones, is the head, and had previously ran a similar scheme and made off with a huge amount of dollars. Not quite Madoff, but maybe mini-Madoff. (100K or so).

So what does Mr. Trikha look like? Here's a photo of him: (he's on the right)
http://vishalbudhwar.blogspot.com/2009/12/tvi-express-tarun-trikha-vishal-budhwar.html

And here's another picture, from a TVI Express "fansite" (It's in Thai) -->> It's the same picture as the blog.

And here is the same guy in China, pushing TVI Express and posing with friendly locals:

Definitely the same guy. So what does the blog entry actually say?

六月十號來自全國各地的120余名TVI鑽石會員,齊聚深圳,與代表公司的印度領導人Tarun Trikha共商TVI發展事宜。
June 10th (2009), 120 or so TVI "Diamond Associates" of TVI Express, from all over the country, gather in ShenZheng (Guandong, China), and met with India Leader Tarun Trikha, representing the company, to discuss further developements.

據悉,自公司1月開始全球運作開始,全球共誕生6位皇冠會員。中國自3月份開始運作,就占了5位皇冠會員。另外一位就是Tarun Trikha。
TVI Express started operating globally in January 2009, and there was a total of six crown associates in the whole world.  TVI Express started operating in China in March 2009, and China has produced 5 of the crown associates. Mr. Trikha is the 6th.

The blog also says that Mr. Trikha already has 36000 downlines.(blog entry was dated June 2009)

Well, isn't that interesting. Based on this information, the only logical conclusion is that Mr. Trikha is the FIRST EVER member of TVI Express! He is "member zero"! Why else would he be "representing TVI Express"? A member don't get to do that, not even one on the advisory board!

So it is logical to assume that he either founded the company, or is very close to the founders. How else would he get to join TVI Express so early, and thus, reap all the benefits?

Now that you've seen "face of the enemy", what is your reaction?

TVI Express cheerleader plagiarizes himself, says nothing new

Welcome to another episode of TVI Express madness, where TVI Express cheerleaders, or shills, put out bad explanations, lies, untruths, and bogus reasoning in order to sign you up as their downline! We scour the Internet for more examples every day, to document this mass madness phenomenon!

Today's website we'll highlight is http://hubpages.com/hub/TVI-Express-Scam-Is-TVI-Express-a-HUGE-Scam-To-Steal-Peoples-Money

Generally we only highlight each victim once. However, this victim here plagiarized himself (from another article he posted), and still have really nothing new to say, which is a symptom of the madness.

TVI Express fraudster claims recruiting is actually selling

Welcome to another episode of "TVI Express Madness", where we document the apparent madness exhibited by TVI Express members, causing them to make illogical statements, ignoring reality even if it is staring them in the face. We will debunk more untruths put out by TVI Express recruiters desperate to fill their own "matrix" in pursuit of that mythical $10000 (and maybe some dubious e-Vouchers) payout.

The website we will debunk today is  http://toptviexpressteam.com/tag/tvi-express-scam/

As you can guess, TopTVIExpressTeam is a recruiter site, hoping for some more members to fill their matrix so they can cash out. They even wrote several blog entries claiming why TVI Express is not scam. What reason did they use?
"An opportunity that promises that you will make a certain amount of money when they know full well that very few if any people actually have a chance to do so. An example would be saying that you can make $10,000 per month, but to do so you would need to sponsor hundreds of people into the business. Since the average person only sponsors about two people into any business, what chance do they have of making $10,000? None and the people making those promises know that. That is what I call a scam.
How does TVI Express measure up to that? They say that you can make $10,000 along with a $5,000 travel voucher if you are committed, work hard and sponsor 2 people. You then help others to also sponsor their own 2 people which pushes you thru a matrix/board that has 14 positions on it. As each of those positions sponsors people you are pushed toward the top where you cash out and get paid.
Clearly, Bob has absolutely no idea what a pyramid scheme is, or the airplane game, or the 8-ball model. Yet it's right there on wikipedia, even has nice pictures!

TVI Express shills post bogus claims of legitimacy

Here is a typical "article" claiming that TVI Express is not a scam.

"... They [TVI Express] have third-party relationships with some of the leading businesses in the travel industry. This should tell anyone that it’s not a scam. Carnival, Hilton, and Hertz are just a few of the businesses that TVI has associated themselves with."

Except where is the "proof" that TVI Express has, or have ever had such relationships with those companies? Is there a press-release somewhere by any of these supposed 'associates'? Nope. An unverifiable claim was made. I guess I could say I am related to the famous author Amy Tan, and how are you going to prove me otherwise? (Incidentally, I really am)

And please note the term "third-party relationships". That means TVI Express doesn't actually do business with any of them directly, but through a third-party.

Gee, I guess because I own a PC with Intel CPU inside, I am "associated" with Intel! I have an HP fax on my desk and a LG cell phone and use Verizon. So I must be associated with Hewlett-Packard, LG, and Verizon as well!

If that proves that TVI Express is legitimate, I guess any Al Qaeda goon who owns any sort of name-brand electronics is legitimized by owning such electronics! "Me no terrorist! Me iPhone here!"

Then the "author" brings out the "If they pay, they must be legit" excuse, despite the fact that Bernie Madoff haven't faded from the headlines completely yet.

With no other excuse left, the "author" resort to making an unsupported statement:

"TVI Express is not a scam. In fact, they are a legitimate company that was created by individuals who, obviously, thought outside the box."
Outside the LEGAL box, it seems. And it must have included a case of the stupid pill, because people have to be taking it to spew garbage like this.

Our TVI booster is back... with more vitriol than ever!

Our resident TVI booster Lynette, who apparently has nothing better to do than busting my chops (or trying to, any way), has posted a couple more feedbacks, in which she has accused me of various things! Here's some select quotes so you can marvel at her mastery of baseless insults:

I laugh at people like you who jump on something and run with it with no proof of your own.
So explain why TVI Express can't pass the FTC test, please? That's the simplest thing. So let's start there.

If you look your information is inaccurate as well. I am sorry for you, but the proof is in the pudding and I've seen the money made, or I wouldn't be in this one either.
Yet she cannot cite a single instance just WHAT information I have was "inaccurate". Then she explains it away by the typical scam excuse: it made money. She ignored my multiple references to Bernie Madoff, who made plenty of money, BILLIONS of dollars, and is very illegitimate.

Another "desperate" TVI member's non-rebuttal

Wow, I seem to be a magnet for all the various TVI Express member and teams and whatever that wants to "refute" my research into TVI Express. Instead of actually providing me with any facts to refute what I presented, they instead went on some personal attack. I'll quote another recent comment (click here to see original)
Why is it that people feel they have the right to critique a company without being a part of it?
Oh, the classic "if you're not us you can't understand us" argument, except it is bogus. A scam is a scam, no matter if you're in it or not in it. By this argument, police and justice system cannot exist because they have to be criminals to judge criminals, or even to criticize criminals.

Besides, what about movies critics? Or book critics? Or even political critics? They aren't in the stuff they are critiquing (except peripherally).
How can a person give reliable and factual information just by doing “research” on the internet?
Instead of refuting the EVIDENCE I gave, she instead attack me personally. Perhaps you need to wake up, dear. Wikipedia is now the most often cited research source in the world. Every single reference book from Encyclopedia Britannica to Merriam-Webster dictionary is online. And on the Internet, I can pull up company records in England, comments about TVI Express in India, official investigation of TVI Express in China, and more. YOU are posting this comment on the Internet. And you criticize the use of Internet for research?

TVI Express: the final verdict

Bernie Madoff by Yan Pei-Ming at San Francis...
This will really be the final word on TVI Express I will write. It will be a summary of all the previous entries. However, I will also post a translation of the Chinese article, as the Google Translation isn't that good. Any way, here goes...

TVI Express: The Final Verdict

Tens of Thousands of people have been lured by the promise of quick profits, i.e. "earn up to $15000 in a week" to join "TVI Express" all around the world. India, China, and now the US. This supposedly London-based company claims to sell discounted travel vouchers. However, TVI Express is a Ponzi scam, plain and simple. They may have hidden their deeds pretty well, but there are enough clues out there for everybody to find. But will you see it, or stay in self-denial?

The problems of TVI Express are plenty. For organization, I've divided it up into three categories: company background suspicions, company practice suspicions, and finally, faulty retorts.
