TVI Express use shill sites to give itself high ratings

thou shalt not shill
I've had some people who wants to convince me that TVI Express is a legit opportunity because it got a "5-star rating" from some website called citizencorps.com

Frankly, I never trust the words of ONE website, esp. it's a website I've never heard before. I'll list some of the things I find VERY STRANGE about this website. Then I'll tell you my opinion at the end. So, please read on. I don't really care if you agree with me or not, but I find it very troubling that people actually cite this place as a "legitimate review".

1) The homepage itself is already troubling. Notice the graphics ad for TVI Express on the left? While the HTML code says it's from Google Syndication (i.e. Google Adsense), this is a violation of ethics, for a MLM review website to post a MLM ad, even if it's one they don't exactly control. The problem is, this site lambasts other sites for "reviewing" and selling the MLM at the same time. Wouldn't that be the pot calling the kettle black, since citizencorps.com reviewed TVI Express, AND has a TVI Express banner up front?

2) Why are the 5 companies listed in that tiny menu bar on the very top? Does that mean this website have only reviewed 5 MLMs? As they have star ratings for only 5. As there are hundreds of MLMs out there, a site that reviewed only five is hardly credible, is it?

3) If you click on anything OTHER THAN those 5 pages they listed, you get a PHP error. In other words, those entries do NOT EXIST. Go ahead, try it! Click on any of the "categories" on the right: home business, uncategorized, or general. ALL of them do NOTHING. The only links that do anything are for those 5 reviews that go somewhere.

4) Note that there ARE entries in the blogs, as listed in the "recent entries", but the five reviews are in a completely different format! Just compare the review of "Carbon Copy Pro" with the review of TVI Express. Completely different styles.

5) Look at the "archives" on the right-hand bar, and that tells you that this website was updated frequently from January 2008 to July 2008, then a few entries in October 2008, then nothing until October 2009! What were these "experts" doing for that year in hiatus, as there's no mention of this on their website?

6) What's even more interesting... A check through the Internet Archives shows that this website may be a cybersquatter! If you look at the website as it was from 2002 to 2007, you'll find that CitizenCorps.com was actually a US FEDERAL GOVERNMENT website run by none other than FEMA! The "real" Citizen Corps has moved to citizencorps.gov, so this guy somehow got his hands on a former government .com domain. And what does he put up? Hmmm...

7) There's not a single NAME to be found in the whole website. WHO runs this website? Who are the supposed experts that reviews these opportunities? If a rental car was booked through TVI Express's website, and supposedly "saved more than the $250 entry fee", where's a receipt that proves this was actually accomplished?

8) Just like TVIExpress.com, Citizencorps.com has domain privacy turned on. NO INFORMATION on who runs this website is available. Check it yourself:

http://whois.domaintools.com/citizencorps.com

9) They can't even get the facts straight on TVI Express, as their statement directly contradicts TVI Express's own FAQ. Tell me who's correct?

Citizencorps.com says about TVI Express:

"Travel Ventures International is basically a discount travel club. To become a member you simply purchase a travel voucher for $250. That voucher can be redeemed for a 6 night 7 day vacation from a selection of 5 star resorts around the world."

However, TVI Express's FAQ says something else completely:

"The cost to join TVI Express is USD 250 if paid using prepaid vouchers and is USD 275 if paid by Liberty Reserve or Credit Card. It's a one time out of the pocket expense for a lifetime membership and does not include any recurring charges."

So you don't buy a travel voucher. You buy someone else's PREPAID voucher to JOIN. The voucher is NOT FOR TRAVEL!

CitizenCorps.com says:

"No additional costs are required to participate in the business opportunity. Referring two new customers qualifies the new member for a recurring $10,000 payout."

However, the TVI Express FAQ says:

"The first thing you need to do is sponsor two (2) people who join the TVI Express Opportunity. This will qualify you to cycle out of the boards as you progress ahead in the Compensation plan. Secondly, you need to encourage and teach those two downlines (people you sponsored) to sponsor more people and duplicate the process. Following these two simple steps will have you making money even while you sleep."

Notice two things NOT mentioned in the review: "cycle out of the boards" and "encourage the two downlines to sponsor more people, and duplicate the process".

Makes you wonder just how long did "CitizenCorps.com" reviewer(s) spent on studying TVI Express? Did they not even read the FAQ?

So, there you go. IMHO, CitizenCorps.com is a shill site that didn't review squat, since their own reviews are full of errors, misspellings, with a broken site, and cited only by pushers busy recruiting more victims for their Ponzi scams. And if you actually cite it as a "reputable review", I have some beachfront properties in Arizona I want to sell you.

Dear Kasey,
I'm new at this blogging & commenting thing; but in my Bo's & Mines tireless rush to exposing TVI Express- we spent all of Sunday Night AND Monday Morning researching, we were able to confirm- with the help of a member- that the TVI Express "Booking Page" is ACTUALLY- when you examine the source code- the FREE LEGITIMATE PAGE of- guess who? TRAVELOCITY.com! LOL! Not only that, but, we CALLED- www.travelocity.com's LEGAL DEPARTMENT- since in TVI's video they claim they are AFFILIATED with Travelocity; and spoke to them and asked them of this supposed affiliation- TRAVELOCITY SAID "WE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH COMPANY as TVI EXPRESS, or TRAVEL VENTURES, INTERNATION EXPRESS, and ARE "NOT" AFFILIATED WITH ANY SUCH COMPANY". Adding to please write to their customer affairs department if you were promised discounts, discount vouchers, etc! Yup. The facade falls!

TVI Express is not a scam. Why is it that people feel they have the right to critique a company without being a part of it? How can a person give reliable and factual information just by doing “research” on the internet? How in depth was your research? What makes you a reliable source or even qualified enough to know what is factual and what is not in your research? Where are your credentials that you and your research are reliable? Where are your links to show what exactly you are talking about or referring to? Your blog and the responses to it are absolutely laughable. I would guarantee it, that if you are slamming TVI Express it is only because you are not a part of the company and the growth within the company. TVI Express offers a brilliant, and might I add legal, legitimate and awesome plan for all who become members of the discount travel company “Travel Venture International.” For an individual to know firsthand and be able to judge TVI Express you must me affiliated with this company or how will you truly know?

Here are some facts: These facts are coming directly from a member who knows firsthand that TVI Express is indeed working and changing the lives of hundreds and thousands of people around the world. How can I back this up? Because I am a member of TVI Express and have tested the discount travel portion of the business, I have also selected hotels to use my 6 nights that I purchased for $250.00 and upon calling the hotels of my choice was informed that yes indeed they do honor TVI Express certificates. I have seen the money and the payouts firsthand. I have watched money roll in more than any time in my life, and I am a business owner of 20 years. I will make more money in one year with TVI Express than I have made combined in my entire lifetime and I am 42.

Here is some more enlightening and factual information for you: TVI Express is 1 years old.
At the stroke of recession, when the world economy slept, TVI Express rouse to a new business model with a benign thought of "Touching Lives Globally by making millionaires!" On 1st Feb 2009, it was just a thought, by the end of Feb, 2009 with a network of 2500 members and a map overlay of 50 countries, this thought became a hope and now on 1st Feb, 2010 with a flamboyant network of over 600,000 members in 160 countries, we have become a legendary record-breaking success story.
600,000 people cannot be wrong….think about it…..600,000 people in one year have become members in 160 countries.
If you want to know the ins and outs of TVI Express and how you can become a team player with a great group that is dedicated to success not only individually but as a team then please contact me directly at bettyboop.tvi@gmail.com I 100% recommend that the individuals who have tried to discredit an opportunity before trying it themselves to contact me directly, I would love to watch you succeed and have to post a rebuttal on this blog site.
Lynette Artin,
A TVI Express team player who is ecstatic with the financial freedom that TVI Express has given me.

So, should I call you Lynette, or Betty? Your login says Betty, but you seem to call yourself Lynette. So what's your REAL name?

You wrote: "Why is it that people feel they have the right to critique a company without being a part of it?"

Do police and judges have to be criminals to criticize / prosecute criminals? Don't be ridiculous. This is the most often used excuse by cults to counter any criticism: they just don't understand us.

As for my research, all of my opinions and facts are on the webpages. If you've actually READ any of them you'd realized I link to all my sources.

As for YOUR facts, you have NO FACTS. You have some personal testimony you CLAIM to be facts with no evidence backing up any of them.

WHICH hotels take TVI Express vouchers? Care to reveal them so we can check for ourselves? You claim to have called and checked. So what are they? Big names, or nonames? Or is this some sort of a secret society that only exists in your imagination?

So TVIExpress is 1 year old? Congratulations. Bernie Madoff's ponzi scheme was 20 years old when it unraveled. Just because it survived for 12 months in no way lends it any legitimacy.

Sorry, but IMHO, you're just another TVI Express cultist who cites non-existent proof of TVI Express's legitimacy, in order to desperately hold on to your hope that you are actually doing something legal and earn lots of $$$.

The LEGAL DEPARTMENT of TRAVELOCITY- has stated that they are NOT affiliated with TVI Express in ANY, "ANY" WAY. That they are NOT partners, etc.

I know, I know. You think any of these TVI shills have anything to say regarding my FTC test comment? Seriously doubt it.

Kasey, First off I am not a cultist, I am a Business owner in the pet industry and have been for 20 years. I am a single mother who has raised 4 children on her own with very little if any help from their father. I am a very intelligent woman with a bachelors degree in social and criminal justice. No I do not believe that police and judges have to be criminals in order to prosecute criminals, in fact, I know better, don't you. This is not up to either of them and for very good reason I might add and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. That is why we have prosecutors and jury's it's a checks and balance system of which you obviously know nothing about either. My name is Lynette and my user name online is BettyBoop, I didn't realize that would be so difficult to see and since you have put this blog together you of all people should know that this blog site gave me two options of identity choices which were Betty or an open ID I chose betty, but signed my name. I have nothing to hide. I laugh at people like you who jump on something and run with it with no proof of your own. If you look your information is inaccurate as well. I am sorry for you, but the proof is in the pudding and I've seen the money made, or I wouldn't be in this one either. I know that more millionaire's are made in MLM's than any other field, TVI has grown at rates and speed that have made history. Who knows maybe this company will fall on it's face, in our economy any company can do that. There's no guarantee that you or I will wake up tomorrow. Nothing is a sure thing in life except taxes and death. You call me a cultist, that show's your character right there, which is really why I shouldn't waste my time posting here, however anyone with intelligence at any level will be able to see that your intentions are not for the good will of people but just another place in Cyber Space to spread your negative aura on to unsuspecting weak individuals who jump on your band wagon. Those in favor of TVI only give solid information on a new company that is taking a lot of non deserving heat from MLM haters and critics. Why? Because the very small risk of $275 is worth every penny invested. What you walk away with in this company is great. The mentality of the people, the positive energy, dreams being fulfilled. It's an awesome company to be a part of. This is no cult, it's an opportunity to make money and a lot of money at that, more money than you yourself has ever seen. Why or how do I know that - because of your attitude which is displayed behind everything you type. You Kasey work for your money and have no idea how to make money work for you. 600,000 people in TVI are unintelligent cultists too I suppose? You better watch out, you better lock up your doors, run for your life, as AC/DC sings. TVI the cultist are out there, I'd rather be called a cultist by someone like you, and take a risk (a very small one at that - $275)to be a part of something that is changing the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and making dreams come true, I bet that is something you haven't done, but then that's why you are here to bash TVI. Find something useful to do with your life, Thanks for making my day, I love a good laugh in the morning with my coffee. Have a wonderful Friday - Think Spring. I'll be driving my BMW by then, thanks to TVI - by the way what will you be driving? Lynette aka Betty as in BettyBoop.

P.S. I will go into my back office I will post a few of the 5***** hotels that are a part of Travel Venture International.

Kasey your post sites http://citizencorps.com/tvi-express-travel-ventures-international/
as a link and you bash that website as a TVI promoter and a shill site. For your info - now they rate TVI at a 3 star for reasons that there are gliches that have to be worked out-however they site that TVI DOES PAY!!!!! they also give 5 star ratings to other companies that have copied and perfected the matrix plan, you bashed a website for giving TVI a 5 star rating who has since dropped them to a 3 star. You are uninformed that is the bottom line. Good luck to all who choose an MLM to further your financial goals in life, I for one will remain with TVI because it is an awesome opportunity if you refer to the link above it also gives a few other MLM companies you can check into either one you choose will change your life and bring you riches beyond your dreams if you work hard, diligently and spread your knowledge and hold on to your positive energy, as for you Kasey I wish you luck in your endeavors and here's a fact for you - Spewing your negative energy on your blog spot will never give you financial freedom, you need to go back to your drawing board and re figure. Lynette Artin aka Betty as in bettyboop

PS: where does it say anywhere that TVI is a part of travelocity?

Lynette (i.e. Betty), you seem to be somewhat confused as to a couple facts:

* I am not prosecuting anybody, and the Internet is NOT a lawful forum. There is no such thing as "burden of proof" on the Internet, even though I provided as much proof as I can find. You, on the other hand, have NOTHING backing up your own claims. Yet you accuse me with one baseless charge after another. Well, that is your freedom to do so.

* I have PLENTY of proof, NONE of which you care to explain or refute with your own citable facts or links or whatever. You just keep going back to the TVI Marketing material. Just you SAYING that it's legitimate doesn't MAKE it legitimate.

* Yes, I believe 60000 people can be duped into joining a fraud. Jim Jones convinced hundreds of people to DIE for him. What's a couple hundred dollars?

And don't tell me about being smart. Smartest people fall for the fraud the hardest. Look at Bernie Madoff's victims: $30 BILLION dollars worth

http://www.businessinsider.com/2008/12/bernie-madoff-hosed-client-list

And these are not your average Joes and Janes. These are the elite of Wall Street, the top of the social circle, including European Royalties, and more. Yet they ALL fell for Madoff's Ponzi scheme. And you tell me that 60000 average Joes can't be taken in by a simple double 8-ball scheme, esp. with bunch of cheerleaders (such as you) recruiting them?

* Even now, you don't seem to realize that fact that a MLM actually sells SOMETHING, and TVI Express sells NOTHING. Therefore, TVI Express CANNOT be a MLM. Any further comparison to a MLM would be pointless. The FTC says so on their own website. And if they don't sell anything, any money you "made" came from other TVI Express members hoping to cash in just like you, which made YOU a part of the pyramid scam.

If you don't see that, then there's no point in further discussion.

* And if you do end up buying a Beemer with money you earned from TVI Express, just remember, all that money came from other TVI members. Think of that EVERY TIME you get sit in in that seat.

* The very fact that CitizenCorps changed their mind regarding TVI Express, is VERY significant, because it's one of the few favorable third-party reviews (actually, the ONLY ONE that can be found by me, I welcome links to any other true/impartial favorable reviews) just shows that TVI Express is a joke, and how lousy CitizenCorp's review was in the first place. Just the fact that they had to DOWNGRADE their own review is not enough for you to distrust them, apparently.

As for other companies with matrix formulas... Other companys usually actually SELL something. TVI Express sells NOTHING, says so in their own FAQ. Thus, your own comparison is faulty.

* It is clear that we will not agree, but calling me names will not help your "cause" at all.

--ed.

Once Again. Go to the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION & THE FBI's WEBSITE AND CHECK OUT THE STRUCTURE OF TVI & THE STRUCTURE OF AN "8 BALL SCAM". TVI claims to have affiliation with TVI Express in their promotional videos? I think mayby YOU'RE uninformed. TVI is a SCAM, Wether it PAYS or NOT matters NOT. Selling drugs ALSO PAYS. LOL. Doesn't mean it's LEGAL. LOL. Inform yourself because you are LIABLE for getting other people involved once you know it's a scam. You will be liable for returning moneys to potential victims.
