TVI Express is NO LONGER a UK company

There are all those shills that claim TVI Express is based in London UK. They can't explain why TVI Express does NOT appear in UK Business Registry "CompaniesHouse.gov.uk"

They claim that TVI Express is called "TVI Services" in UK, even though it's based in Surrey, UK, not London.

Guess, what, TVI Services was DISSOLVED in 08-MAR-2011.  What excuse do they have now?

More Hilarious TVI Express Member Sites that Stretches Truth to Breaking Point

Found a German Page that claims that TVI Express was actually a part of WCTravel!

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.geld-und-reisen.de/wer-ist-tvi.html&ei=R7dlTZvcO4ussAOWqfj7BA&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=2&ved=0CDMQ7gEwATge&prev=/search%3Fq%3DTVI%2BExpress%2Billegal%26start%3D30%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26tbo%3D1%26rlz%3D1C1GPCK_enUS321US322%26tbs%3Dqdr:w%26prmd%3Divns

A couple choice excerpts
These [partners] include: Avis, Lufthansa, Hertz, Marriott and many more
Then explain why Mallorca Zeitung said TVI Express was SUED by AVIS, Lufthansa, and Marriott?
A portion of the Board was of WCT World Travel Choise (http://www.wctravel.com) contracted to establish and manage TVI. WCT was founded in 1995 and is a world-making enterprise.
There is NO PROOF of this. In fact, WCTravel has an affiliate program that is free to join called "Travelocity Partner Program".

That's like an Amazon Associate claiming to be "backed by Amazon, the world's largest store"!  What utter poppycock!
On the side of Company House can be found by entering "TVI" under the number 00988876, the TVI Limited, a registered company.
There is NO PROOF that this "TVI Limited" is in any way related to "TVI Express". That company is based in Surrey, NOT London / Heathrow / Uxbridge / whereever TVI Express claims to be. In fact, TVI Express claims that they are NOT subject to UK law!
No [TVI is not a pyramid scheme], TVI achieved even now millions. There are the product of travel in the online travel agency.
So just because it had ALLEGEDLY sold millions (their own claim, cannot be verified in any way) they must be legitimate? What a joke. Remember Bernard Madoff? He had BILLIONS in business. He's a fraud.

Absolutely hilarious at the sort of bull**** one can find about TVI Express.

Rudy Phan makes another TVIExpressdollar.com lie, about jurisdiction of disputes

Orthographic map of IndonesiaImage via WikipediaTVIExpressdollar.com, a website by Indonesian TVI Express distributor "Rudy Phan", continue to post bull**** on his website, adding more and more lies hoping to recruit more participants to make himself rich, even though local businesses, governments, and even the Islamic Council have declared TVI Express a "money game" (i.e. SCAM). Rudy Phan, of course, has a comeback for each and every one of those news of "doom"... Everybody else must be mistaken. Only he can be right.

Just recently he posted a blog entry about how TVI Express is not really subject to Indonesia law.

In the entry "Rules of the Game" he posted that...
"And all disputes governed by the laws of Cyprus and India. Platform or online business systems TVI Express builds upon the laws of Cyprus and India, therefore in case of dispute will be settled in accordance with the laws of Cyprus and India. It's not that Indonesian law does not apply. The problems that occurred in Indonesia and it will be completed nationwide by the laws of Indonesia. However, because businesses are global TVI Express (you can have many members in your network who are in the world), if there are problems that are global as well, then the law is the law used Cyprus and India."
First, is Rudy Phan a lawyer? Does he even explain just WHAT laws apply in cases regarding international disputes? No! He simply issues declarations, but he has no evidence that his declaration is true!

Second, can he explain just exactly WHAT is considered national or International? No. It's a generic "problems that occur in Indonesia is governed by laws of Indonesia". However, he quickly followed with "because the TVI Express is global, if problems are global then you must use Cyprus and India law".

But what exactly constitutes a "global problem"? Does he mean problems with other members residing in other countries? Or with TVI Express itself? Or something else entirely? I assure you it is NOT covered anywhere in the blog, and in any case he has NO authority to make such an interpretation at all (neither do I, but then I recognize my ignorance when it comes to law, and Rudy Phan does not!)

Third, Rudy Phan claims that if you register with eBay, you are subject to the laws of California, USA. However, there a couple problems with this comparison. Here's the policy in question:
"By using eBay (including eBay.com and its related sites, services and tools), you agree to the following terms with eBay Inc. and the general principles for the websites of our subsidiaries and international affiliates. If you reside outside of the United States, you are contracting with one of our international eBay companies: In countries within the European Union, your contract is with eBay Europe S.à r.l.; in all other countries, your contract is with eBay International AG. If you have any questions, please refer to our help section."
Noticed anything? eBay has at least three offices, and it was very clear on WHICH one you are doing business with. If you are in the US, you are doing business with eBay (USA). If you are in E.U, you are doing busienss with eBay Europe, and in other countries, eBay Intl AG.

So what this really say is if you sue eBay and you're in the US, THEN you are subject to California law.

If you are in UK, you are subject to BRITISH COURT JURISDICTION, according to ebay.co.uk  "Any claim, dispute or matter arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be governed and construed in all respects by the laws of England and Wales. You and eBay both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts." But your contract is still with eBay International AG (based in Switzerland)

Furthermore, Rudy Phan claims that eBay Indonesia makes you subject to laws of Singapore. So TVI Express can make you be subject to laws of Cyprus and India. That is a false comparison.

If you actually click on the website, id.ebay.com user agreements, it actually takes you to http://pages.ebay.com.sg/help/policies/user-agreement.html?_trksid=m40  (the Singaporean site, which is where eBay has the closest office)

So this basically proves that Rudy Phan has no f**king clue what he's talking about. If you do business locally, you follow local business laws. You can't just say I do business here but if there's a problem you have to sue me somewhere else.

Furthermore, the bull**** about "disputes subject to India or Cyprus law is just that, bull****.

This is the same sort of bull**** TVI Express distributes claimed in Africa. They claim they have "global license", and local regulators are NOT amused, and it is charged as illegal scams in multiple countries in Africa.

Who is Adrian Beale and how was he related to TVI Express?

Adrian Beale was once a TVI Express member. On his website, marketingwithadrian.com, he had a page about TVI Express called "TVI Express Power Line". However, he has removed the video (from Youtube) AND mostly removed references on his own website except a few entries here and there.

He is now a Bon Voyage 1000 member. However, he definitely was hot about TVI Express. On another fan site, he was quoted as saying:

Congratulations to all my team in Indonesia with the opening of the latest Support Office in Jakarta Indonesia at the Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place on the 20TH May 2010. The Power Line team stretches to all Four Corners of the Globe and we have access to all the Support Offices from UK (London) India (Bangalore) and Now Jakarta Indonesia. We all look forward to our Next $10,000
There were more references of his "team" from many locations.

The fact that he abandoned his lucrative position in TVI Express and moved onto BV1K should tell you how TVI Express is NOT sustainable (or perhaps, not even legal).

Classic TVI Express Member Lies

Today, we present another set of classic TVI Express lies. Previously, we found a letter from Mr. Goyal, that claims TVI Express was related to a glass factory in Italy, and a casino/resort in England. What sort of lies will we find this time?  The original in Chinese, dated May 23 2009, is at http://xiecheng51.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!FB3360FAB196CDAE!146.entry but I'll just translate it for you...

TVI快车--其合法性

TVI Express and its legitimacy

公司合法,手续齐全,因为涉及出国不归等政治因素,旅游公司的设立必须符合国际惯例,其上千万的注册资金需求以及数百万质量保证金要求就让很多人望而却步,而且成立旅游公司不是任何人都可以为之!
Company is legal, and all necessary steps are complete. Due to involvement in travel and other political factors, establishing a travel company must conform to international common practices, and tens of thousands must be invested for registration, and millions must be put up in performance bonds, which will discourage most people. Establishing a travel company is not something that can be done by anybody!

TVI Express Indonesia Leader Lied to Reporters

Following is an article from an Indonesia news website Jogja Radar Online,  where Ms. Gornawan told reporters in Indonesia that TVI Express is NOT a MLM, contradicting company position.

JOGJA - Companies engaged in world travel service Travel Ventures International (TVI) Expres entered the business opportunity (BO) meeting, yesterday. The event, which was centered at the University Club (UC) Hall, University of Gadjah Mada (UGM) was attended by about 1,000 people which is a member and prospective member TVI Express.
Owner TVI Express Indonesia PT Goenarni Goenawan said the event as part of the education and solutions for people who want
According Goenarni, the presence of TVI Express are still relatively new.  This company was established in January 2009 and is headquartered in London, England.  But from the side jejaringnya, it can be said quite extensive.
"It reaches 55 thousand hotels in 150 countries and signed in Indonesia in December 2009 and inaugurated last May. This is not multilevel marketing.  With affordable fees, members can reap benefits from 500 to 10 thousand U.S. dollars, "he explained.
Each member also have an opportunity to earn 100 million each month continually.  this could happen within weeks.
"There are also incentives that reward is given. Shapes ranging from a laptop, a free tour to europe, luxury cars Mercedes, BMW, Audi until another special prize. All this is not a dream, but the fact that realistic, "he said.
This business, he continued, which benefited not only members only.  RI Government also benefited because the potential bring in foreign exchange. The system allows Touris TVI from various countries came to Indonesia.
"Those who want to join simply submit a deposit of 3 million. With this money, members can vacation at one of the 3-5 star around the world, offering free plane tickets, a personal website and discount travel, "he said. (Hes)
What's wrong with this report?

1) Indonesian money is not worth much. As of today, 1 US dollar is about 8975 Indonesia Rupiahs.  However, 3 million Rupiahs is about 330 USD, which is a LOT MORE than TVI Express's $250 + fees, which usally adds to about $275. So where did the other $55 USD go?

2) Here's the big shocker... She (yes, she, the automatic translation have problems) said "this is not multi-level marketing". I wonder if this is a translation error? Because this is DIRECTLY AGAINST TVI EXPRESS WEBSITE:
"Network Marketing — also Direct Selling or Multi Level Marketing is the most powerful system of free enterprise in our modern world, and it is the business model that TVI Express chose from the beginning."
Further research shows that bukan is used as a NEGATIVE (negation). The original Malay says "Ini bukan multilevel marketing". So there really is no mistake: the promoter, Ms. Gouerani, lied.

3) The rest is just regurgitated company material... except for the fact that Ms. Gornawan claims to be promoting tourism of the area.

How do you promote tourism if you sell nothing? (i.e. no trips in the area)?

Remember, this is the SAME TVI Express that was called a fake tourism organization by HGTI, the tourism board of Sikkim, India. HGTI says these fake organizations are RUINING the reputation of the area.

A fake tourism organization that someone claims will help a local government's tourism, while many months ago, a far more official organization claims is RUINING the reputation of the area.

Who's the liar?

Some MORE lies from TVI Express members

This is a letter, published by TVI Express downline in Taiwan, was dated June 2009. It allegedly came from a Mr. Goyal, their TVI Express upline from India. The problem is this letter is in Chinese, which was translated from original English. So retranslating it back to English is going to sound silly, but the general meaning should be clear. You can read the whole thing here, I'll just pick out some of the more egregious lies...

The background of the company is very strong, includes a financial management company with over 50 years of history, a glass product factory in Italy, and casino / resort in England. It has enjoyed leadership position in travel industry for many years. In late June, a main office will open in New Delhi, India. In July office will open in Hong Kong, and Shenzhen China.
As we all know, there still is no office in Hong Kong, no office in China. Nobody ever found out what "financial management company", the casino/resort, or glass factory in Italy that they may be referring to. In fact, these supposedly ties were never mentioned anywhere else.

We (and you) must join this enterprise in the pre-launch phase. This is the key to our future success. In any MLM, only those who join at the very beginning, can earn big money. This business is completely global (over 50 countries around the world), and cooperates with an internationally known related business.
The problem here is they are telling you the truth... ONLY the early joiners will make money, that for sure. But what they mean by global is they have MEMBERS in 50+ countries.
基本投資金額不高,只須新台幣9,500元、19000元或是28500元,全看個人的需要。
Basic investment is low, only NTD 9500, or 19000, or 28500, depending on individual needs.

NOTE: 9500 is joining once. 19000 is joining twice, and 28500 is joining four times. 9500 NTD is roughly $290 USD, the standard "TVI Express" membership + some fees.
The best thing is 80% of your initial investment will be returned in a few weeks, and you can get many benefits, such as free 5-day trip to Banghkok (including all tax, plane ticket, 5-star hotel accommodations, and meals, absolutely no extra expenses)
Includes meals? Only 80% return?
TVI Express提供給你的福利沒有任何灌水,也不會隱瞞、限制或誤導顧客,一切都是透明化的。
TVI Express benefits to you is not inflated, and there is nothing hidden, restricted, or misleading. Everything is transparent.
We all knew how *this* promise turned out.

The 5-star hotel? Turned into 3-5 stars.
Meals? What meals?
Redemption? Impossible to do so until June 2010, 12 months later.
No extra expense? Includes all taxes? Try $150 for "taxes and processing fees"

What lies are TVI Express members telling now in order to score a few more recruits?

Latest TVI Express supporter bull****: still claim TVI Express is in London

Map of Uxbridge city, in the Metropolitan Area...Image via Wikipedia
Someone brought to my attention that some TVI Express supporters are STILL claiming TVI Express is based on London, even though their own published address is NOT in London, but in Uxbridge (next to Heathrow) (over 15 miles away).

Their explanation? Wikipedia says Uxbridge is in "Greater London". That's London, they say.

However, this is what Wikipedia actually says:

"Uxbridge (pronounced /'ʌksbrɪdʒ/) is a large suburban town in northwest London, England and the administrative headquarters of the London Borough of Hillingdon."
The problem with their claim... is like a company located in Rosemead, CA, but claims to be a Los Angeles company, because both are in "Los Angeles County". (Go look at the map)

Does that sound like a weasel explanation to you? It does to me.

Did British Chinese complaint forced TVI Express out of London?

A search through archives about TVI Express shows a blog entry on a British Chinese Newspaper that claims in cooperation with a blogger from China, the website investigated the alleged "Marble Arch Tower" address of TVI Express, confirmed that it is very suspicious, and notified the landlord probably during August 2009. Within a month (September 2009), TVI Express was gone from its London address. Coincidence? Maybe not!

The original is at http://linqiu.5d6d.com/viewthread.php?tid=1439 , but you can read my translation here.

TVI Express: more details about Australian investigation revealed

The Aussies are going after TVI Express hard!
The investigators had also viewed a TVI web-based seminar. In the seminar a building in London is shown and said to be TVI's HQ. Documents filed with the court said the UK Office of Fair Trading had told the ACCC that TVI isn't there and companies TVI claims to have as partners deny any relationship.
In other words, the UK Government Agency in charge of protecting consumers (US equivalent would be the FTC) says "TVI Express is NOT in London". And so call "partners" such as hotels, airlines, and such says "never heard of them".

What do you need to convince you that TVI Express is a scam? Word from God?

Tarun Trikha: TVI Express Official?

One of the most stupid things posted online about TVI Express was a "conference call" that claims to have spoken to a TVI Express official, which supposedly answered a bunch of major questions regarding TVI Express. It is even separated into 7 parts, and put on Youtube, even though it's just a recording of a conference call.

The videos were undated, but based on the content, it should be in late September or early October 2009.  Upload date was October 27 2009, so that fits close enough.

The video claimed to have spoken to TVI Express board member "Tyroon" (sp?). The only name that came close would be Tarun Trikha, a member of the "TVI Express advisory board" (goes to TVI Express / advisory board).

And who qualifies to be on the advisory board? According to the link above, "Advisory Board is for especially selected elite members and true leaders with passion and dedication to help fellow TVItes." In other words, they are just TVI Express distributors, albeit those who have probably passed "presidential associate" levels (i.e. have bazillion downlines). They supposedly get extra training, but only for "motivation" and such things. They don't advise TVI Express at all.

In other words, Advisory Board's purpose is to advise junior members. At best, they are "senior members" or "community mentors". Are they TVI Express "officials"? That is a very good questions. Are they speaking for TVI Express officially? Are stuff they promised legally binding on TVI Express? Nobody knows, because nobody had bothered to ask!

And if you look through the list of board members, you will see Mr. Tarun Trikha. Mr. Tarun Trikha had been spotted at several TVI Express meetings, including one in China back in June 2009, merely months after launch! He was then already listed as a "presidential associate", with tens of thousands of downlines. In fact, it is rumored that he is the real owner of TVI Express, and the first ever member.

Thus, you can pretty much decide the video is absolutely BULL****. TVI Express does not have a "board of directors". As explained above, "advisory board" is NOT "board of directors". They may sound close, but they are NOT the same. A board of directors advise the CEO how to run the company. An advisory board for TVI Express is to motivate more members, on trips paid for by TVI Express. Says so on their own website.

TVI Express: still not a London Company

Stockley ParkStockley Park Image via Wikipedia
Some TVI Express cheerleaders have brought to my attention that TVI Express now lists a new address in Heathrow, not London. The problem is, that address is not quite valid.

The address they want you to check is

Lakeside House
1 Furzeground Way, Stockley Park
Heathrow UB11 1BD, UK

If you plug that into Google Map, you'll see that it is NOT a valid address.

The correct address is

1 Furzeground Way, Stockley Park, Uxbridge, UK (Go ahead, Google it)

Which is NEAR Heathrow, but actually NOT in Heathrow. And it's 20 miles away from London.

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=directions%20uxbridge%20to%20london%2C%20uk&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wl

Furthermore, care to guess how many businesses are listed at the same address, no room number or suite number? FOURTEEN, just those found on Google. Go ahead, look it up. One is the landlord, Regus, which provides virtual offices (allegedly, they also provided the original TVI Express address in London)

What's more, the TVI Express webpage STILL says "headquartered in London, UK"!

If this is supposed to convince me that this is a real office, sorry, I am still NOT convinced.

TVI Express: 8 facts you need to know before you join

TVI Express claims to be a "travel industry opportunity", that is now 1 year old, with over 600000 members worldwide. You buy into this opportunity for $250 (or $275), recruit two others to do the same, then sit back and wait for $10000 (or $10250, or $15000...) to roll in. Is it too good to be true? Here are 8 verified facts you need to know before you join up. I provided the links so you can check for yourself.

FACT #1 -- TVI Express claims to be based in London, England, but is not.

On TVI Express's "about us" webpage, it proudly claims it is based in London, UK.
"Travel Ventures International is a leading multinational conglomerate headquartered in London, United Kingdom."
Yet on the bottom of that very page, the address listed is in Cyprus, which is a little island off Greece. (Keep in mind that TVI Express used to list an UK address until end of 2009.)  Even today, it is using a London UK phone number (country code 44).

TVI Express: recycled Fortuna Alliance pyramid scam

The unsustainable geometric progression of a c...Image via Wikipedia
In the 1990's, when Internet is still young, the FTC busted a pyramid scammer called "Fortuna Alliance", that promised the same things that TVI Express is promising today. Want to see how much of a copycat TVI Express is when compared to a PROVEN scammer, the Fortuna Alliance? You won't like what you see, esp. if you are a member of TVI Express.
"In the complaint detailing the charges, the FTC charged that Fortuna Alliance, L.L.C., and four officers, marketed the pyramid scheme through a home page on the World Wide Web and with printed promotional materials. Using fabulous earnings claims, they induced tens of thousands of consumers in over 60 countries around the world to pay between $250 and $1750 to join their pyramid scheme, claiming that members would receive over $5,000 per month in 'profits' as others were induced to 'enroll.' In addition, Fortuna and its officers provided advice and promotional materials for members to recruit others to join the pyramid, both through direct contact and by setting up their own web sites. The FTC's complaint asked the court to order a permanent halt to the alleged deceptive practices and to order redress for the people Fortuna signed up to the scheme."

A bachelor of criminal justice cannot recognize pyramid scheme!

Seal of the United States Federal Trade Commis...Image via Wikipedia
Our resident TVI Express booster, Lynette, claims to have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, yet she clearly cannot even spot a pyramid scheme! Here's an article from the FTC that explains VERY clearly what a pyramid scheme is, and how pyramid schemes can pretend to be MLM companies. Here's some select quotes:
Pyramid schemes now come in so many forms that they may be difficult to recognize immediately. However, they all share one overriding characteristic. They promise consumers or investors large profits based primarily on recruiting others to join their program, not based on profits from any real investment or real sale of goods to the public.
So, what does TVI Express sell? Nothing. As I've repeated MULTIPLE times, from TVI Express's own FAQ, NOTHING is sold. All of the money comes from recruitment.
In the largest pyramid case brought by the Commission in the 1990's, we witnessed how pyramid operators often try to use the international banking system to hide their assets. In FTC v. Fortuna Alliance, the defendants allegedly promised consumers that, for a payment of $250, they would receive profits of over $5,000 per month. The program spawned numerous web sites on the Internet and victimized thousands of investors across 60 different countries. Although the defendants initially operated out of the United States, the Commission discovered they had secreted millions of dollars to offshore bank accounts in Antigua. But international cooperation saved the day. With the aid of the courts and banks in Antigua, the Commission obtained an order against the defendants, requiring them to repatriate over $2 million in offshore assets and pay approximately $7 million in redress to consumers from 60 countries.
Sound familiar? Payment of $250, $10000 within a month, banking internationally across multiple countries (Cyprus, England, India, and more), multiple websites on the Internet, thousands of victims across the world...

So, Lynette, tell us why TVI Express is NOT a pyramid scheme...

Another "desperate" TVI member's non-rebuttal

Wow, I seem to be a magnet for all the various TVI Express member and teams and whatever that wants to "refute" my research into TVI Express. Instead of actually providing me with any facts to refute what I presented, they instead went on some personal attack. I'll quote another recent comment (click here to see original)
Why is it that people feel they have the right to critique a company without being a part of it?
Oh, the classic "if you're not us you can't understand us" argument, except it is bogus. A scam is a scam, no matter if you're in it or not in it. By this argument, police and justice system cannot exist because they have to be criminals to judge criminals, or even to criticize criminals.

Besides, what about movies critics? Or book critics? Or even political critics? They aren't in the stuff they are critiquing (except peripherally).
How can a person give reliable and factual information just by doing “research” on the internet?
Instead of refuting the EVIDENCE I gave, she instead attack me personally. Perhaps you need to wake up, dear. Wikipedia is now the most often cited research source in the world. Every single reference book from Encyclopedia Britannica to Merriam-Webster dictionary is online. And on the Internet, I can pull up company records in England, comments about TVI Express in India, official investigation of TVI Express in China, and more. YOU are posting this comment on the Internet. And you criticize the use of Internet for research?

TVI Express: 9 reasons why it is the biggest Ponzi scheme ever

MIAMI - JULY 17: Josephine Martinez is handc...
Someone got arrested

EDITOR'S NOTE: This article has been superseded by

You may have heard from someone you know or been recruited on Facebook and such about this "wonder exciting opportunity to earn a lot of money" called TVI Express. To put it plainly, it is a Ponzi scheme, and if you fall for it, you are an idiot. And if you continue to recruit people if you KNOW it is a Ponzi scheme, you are ACTIVELY COMMITTING FRAUD, and may be subject to CRIMINAL PROSECUTION in your country. And if you do NOT see why TVI Express is a Ponzi scheme, you are both stupid AND self-delusional. Let us look at the facts:
