TVI Express in Atlanta Georgia, where TVI Express is illegal? Hah!

Some website called Network Marketing in Atlanta is advertising TVI Express:

Clearly, they never heard about the cease and desist order:

(for more TVI Express genuine news articles, not spun ****, click here )

So who is the moron that published this ****? Turns out, he's not in Georgia at all:

However, this makes no sense, as search for Sterling Couch at Port Ludlow Washington (and that phone number) revealed that this guy is a CPA. I thought CPA had more sense than promoting a scam?

It's more likely that this CPA somehow got his name attached to this domain which was then used for spam. I doubt the CPA even heard of TVI Express.

Consumer Watch Botswana Did Radio Show on TVI Express, still no proof of legitimacy

http://consumerwatchdogbw.blogspot.com/2011/08/on-air-with-tvi-express.html
I had a very amusing experience on radio this morning. After last week's coverage of the TVI Express pyramid scheme, when I reported on it being illegal in Namibia, Georgia, Indonesia and under aggressive investigation in South Africa and Australia, some of the local TVI Express people were very cross indeed and demanded a right of reply.
So they got one this morning. However given that what I'd said was entirely true, their right of reply wasn't unconditional. I was there this morning to respond to some of their comments.
They genuinely seemed confused about what they wanted to say. They described themselves at various points as "investors"and then "not investors", "employees", "directors", "distributors" and "members" of TVI Express.
At one point one fo them said that the Bank of Namibia was considering changing their ban in Namibia but changed the subject quickly when two of us pointed out that we'd contacted the Bank who had denied any such thing...

Who the Heck is Tom McMurrain and Why Was He Pushing TVI Express?

A website called "Secrets2Business" have an article on TVI Express.

But who wrote it? A guy named Tom McMurrain, who wrote a book "From ExCon to ExCaliber".

Both websites linked are dead. So who the heck is Thomas E. McMurrain? Turns out, he really is an ex-Convict. What did he went to jail for? Running a Ponzi Scheme... just like TVI Express. Here's the report:
THOMAS E. MCMURRAIN, 37, formerly of Atlanta, Georgia, pleaded guilty today to four counts of a federal indictment on charges of mail fraud and wire fraud. ...
Between 1997 and the end of October 2000, MCMURRAIN obtained over $9,000,000 from 80 investors. In the end, the vast majority of the investors received only monthly interest payments which totaled $1,600,000 over 1997-2000. MCMURRAIN only paid back about $200,000 in principal. The remaining investors never received their principal back.
MCMURRAIN never disclosed to investors that his pay day loan operations were running at a loss. Nor did he disclose that he was using their monies to invest in any other non-pay day loan operations, including loans totaling $700,000 to other MCMURRAIN's companies, as well as uncollateralized loans to friends and acquaintances without collateral. Additionally, MCMURRAIN did not disclose to lenders that he spent and lost $600,000 of their monies on personal day trading and expended another $700,000 on personal life style purchases.
The United States Attorney's OfficeNorthern District of Georgia
cited from http://www.thepanamanews.com/pn/v_16/issue_10/economy_02.html

Name matches, crime matches, even the self-reference to "Ex-Con" matches. And if you still doubt it, here's the indictment archived on someone else's website

Furthermore, when the scheme unraveled, he ran off the Panama, and had to be extradited. Here's his entry on FraudDigest
On October 12, 2005, Thomas E. McMurrain was sentenced in federal district court in Atlanta, Georgia, to 87 months in prison and ordered to pay restitution of $7,500,000. McMurrain was convicted of mail fraud and wire fraud related to a loan fraud scheme. McMURRAIN pleaded guilty to the charges on May 12, 2005.
Assuming he started serving the sentence in 2005, and serve half of 87 months for good behavior and early release, half of 87 is still 43 months, or over 3 and a half years... That would make his release in... 2009 or so.

So he immediately joined TVI Express, a very obvious pyramid scheme 8-ball scam...

Guess a leopard really can't change its spots.

TVI Express web hosts, and alleged new office in Kazahkstan

Almaty, Kazakhstan's largest cityAlmaty, Kazahkstan, Image via WikipediaTVI Express recently moved their webhost all the way to Kiev, Ukraine

But they are "supposedly" based in UK, yes? They said they are headquartered in UK, did they not? Even though in their own terms of service they said any disputes must be settled with the laws of Cyprus or India?

They said they are opening an office in Kazahkstan back in December 2010.

So where do you think that website is located at?  It is located in UK.

Oh, what irony!

Oh, maybe there's another TVI Express website in Kazahkstan? Sure, but this one is hosted in Germany! At least this guy is based in Almaty, where supposedly TVI Express LLP of Kazahkstan is supposedly registered (but no corp records can be found).

How about Facebook? Here's one, but that's someone else altogether! And the third website they linked to, tvities.com? That goes to a THAI travel website completely unrelated to TVI Express.

Do you think they'll last very long when Tajikstan and Georgia are already going after TVI Express?

Funny TVI Express 2011 announcements: clearly it doesn't read the news

Location map of South AfricaSouth Africa -- Image via WikipediaApparently TVI Express itself does not read the news either. In an announcement posted on 08-JAN-2011 it claims it is expanding into South Africa.
...the fresh and bright 2011 is looking forward to unfold its conventional legacy with 4 international launches in its first quarter itself in Philippines, South Africa, Bangladesh and Kazakhstan respectively.
However, keep in mind that

1) TVI Express is already "belly up" in South Africa when Tarun Trikha apparently abandoned all local members to their fate with the authorities, as reported by "New Age" of South Africa.

2) All Bangladeshi members seem to do is spam the Internet.

3) So-called Kazakhstan launch is in the middle of nowhere, not to mention TVI Express is already under investigation in Tajikstan and Georgia, two of its neighbors. Besides, the launch was supposed to have happened back in December 2010. Based on the history of delays from TVI Express (its Indian HQ was delayed almost a year) this may not happen at all.

Guess that leaves the Phillipines. However, given that TVI Express is already illegal in China since July 2009, investigated in India, and so on, how long do you think they will last in the Phillipines?

TVI Express Keeps Their "Terminated" Member List a Secret

Previously I had criticize EmJay07 who had claimed that TVI Express *does* terminate members for one reason or another. I said if they did, it's impossible to prove, since the list is not public, and there is no publicly available "code of ethics" for TVI Express any way. This started on June 18, 2010.

Guess what was added to TVI Express in July 2010? "Terminated Member List". According to Kaspi and Jackson's website, TVI Express's July Newsletter says...

Terminated TVI Express Members Section

We found it difficult to underestimate the mention of the names of ex-TVI Express members or those who have been terminated by our organization. Although, such information is confidential to an organization and organization has the authority to make declarations or not in this regard; however, we feel that you all must be aware of the common termination reasons and the names which have been blacklisted in our system which we believe could help you in avoiding unknown/unintentional indulgence into practices which are considered unethical with/without the blacklisted members.

Against the name of each blacklisted person, this section would show you the location and the reason(s) based on which, the act of termination was undertaken by us.

FYI, given below are the steps to get to the Terminated Members section in your member back-office:

Backoffice Home Page > Click Miscellaneous on the left

And this list is ONLY visible to members, as it's not on the main website. By keeping it unavailable to the outside, they can revise it at will, with no date or time, and thus, retroactively add people's name to it.

So who is still in TVI Express? Certainly not Darren Aikens

Back in October 2010, Darren Aikens, another "presidential" TVI Express distributor, was supposedly Kaspi and Jackson's upline, and claims to have talked to Tarun Trikha and a new "barrister of marketing" Aknon and relayed exciting news. Mind you, this is AFTER TVINorthAmerica got the Cease and Desist from State of Georgia.

If Mr. Darren Aiken's so excited, you'd think it'd be on his personal website, right?

So what do you see on DarrenAikens.com now? NOT A SINGLE WORD ABOUT TVI EXPRESS. Yet the picture of this guy in front of American flag is identical, so it's the same guy.

Either Mr. Aiken had a change of heart, or Kaspi and Jackson was relaying even MORE bull**** than I suspected.

Now for some classic TVI Express rant

In May 2010, it was announced that the Australian consumer protection agency ACCC is going after Team TVI Oz, and its 3 members for promoting TVI Express in Australia, charging it as a pyramid scheme. At the time, a few Australians and New Zealanders. were "outraged" that ACCC was somehow prohibiting them from making money. Here is one such rant from "Irate Queenslander", which will be analyzed.

June 02

TVI Express is NOT a SCAM!!!

To all you negative network marketers out there. This is a cold hard fact. Most people join network marketing businesses purely to make money. It does not really matter what the product is.. it is all about the right time & right place. Admit it to yourselves, if you were in the top 50 people to see a product being released via a networking strategy you would jump on board because at the end of the day everyone is trying to get out of the rat race and the promise of easy money and financial freedom is too tempting.
This paragraph does not defend TVI Express at all. It simply made a generalization: people join MLM to make money.

Top Ten Lies on Tviexpressdollar.com

Schematic description of the expasion of the e...Image via WikipediaRight on front page of Rudy Phan's TVIExpress Dollar are "Top Ten Reasons To Join". However, here are proof that all ten are lies or half truths

LIE #1a:  TVI Express is a company that is growing very rapidly throughout the world and become debt-free multinational companies

FACT: TVI Express is a company being INVESTIGATED AND PROSECUTED in multiple countries, which includes Hungary (charged as pyramid scheme), Australia (members charged operating pyramid scheme), China (members arrested and sentenced to prison for disturbing economic order by operating pyramid scheme), Tajikstan (local member defrauded locals), Georgia (local general violated ethics, recruited subordinates into pyramid scheme), United States (issued cease and desist by state of Georgia), Namibia (national bank issued fraud alert, declared TVI Express illegal banking), Indonesia (declared haram under sharia law by Islamic Council of Aceh) and many more.

For links and excerpts to actual news articles, see this link.

Lie #1b: (members pay in cash)

TVI Express FAQ #19 was very clear that payout was into eWallet, NOT CASH.
19. How do I receive my commissions?

All commissions are instantly transferred to your secure eWallet, which is protected by our double check secure system. Funds can be withdrawn to your bank accounts, or can be received in forms of other ecurrencies from your backoffice. You can also choose to load the funds onto your very own TVI Express prepaid card, which is accepted at tens of thousands of ATM’s & POS terminals worldwide.
What they don't tell you is that the "prepaid card" is only available in certain locations (probably not yours), and all transfers must be applied and approved by TVI Express, and unspecified taxes and fees will be levied without explanation, and the process takes several days or weeks, and can be denied without explanation.

Tracking the scam: Who said TVI Express hired Grimes and Reese?

Back in September, there was a rumor spread from IncreaseMyMonthlyIncome (i.e. Kaspi and Jackson's TVI Express website) that TVI Express has hired Grimes and Reese to make themselves compliant in the US. This report was soon copied by various TVI Express member websites.

This report was allegedly filed by Don Traurig, who allegedly talked to one of the lawyers there personally. However, if you read the actual message, you will realize that there is absolutely NOTHING to confirm this alleged call had taken place. There had been NO announcement from TVI Express itself, nor any sort of confirmation from Grimes and Reese or any third-party source that can be used to confirm this claim. Furthermore, there was even a message allegedly from Tarun Trikha and relayed through Don Traurig that NOBODY should call the lawyers to even verify the claim.

This is early September 2010.

A few days later, a TVI Express "team" in Georgia was served with cease and desist, and nobody bothered defending TVI Express. Which should prove that the hiring of Grimes and Reese was merely a rumor.

But who started it?

Search through Google shows that the first listing is likely Troy Dooley, on 23-JUL-2010

http://thatmlmbeat.com/mlm-weekly-news-report-find-out-about-waiora-tvi-express-mpbtoday-global-verge-and-amway/

However, he did not name a source for this information. Thus, one wonders who leaked him the information. Troy Dooley had previously highlighted TVI Express as a scammy operation multiple times on his website MLMHelpdesk.com so it is surprising this information did not appear on mlmhelpdesk.com at all.

Furthermore, MLMHelpdesk.com was hit with a WOT "bad reputation" tag, yet I found no problem with the information it had been providing on scams and legitimate MLMs. Thus, I suspect it had been maligned by its detractors.

I had posted several questions to Troy but he had no responded.

Here is one that seem to predate Troy's Announcement dated 06-JUL-2010, but that's a link to Youtube video dated June 26, 2010. In the about:
" tviteaminfo.com TVI Express | TVI North America - New office coming to the USA! TVI Express is your MLM choice for earning life changing income and transforming lives. TVI Express has engaged the well known law firm of Grimes and Reese, as specialists in MLM and direct selling law to launch offices in the US..."
The website it links to is now promoting Revolving Relay, not TVI Express. It was issued by TVINorthAmerica, based out of Atlanta Georgia, the same folks who got issued the cease and desist. If you look at the video, you can even see "Grimes and Reese" as one of the tabs on the browser. If you scroll to the 9 minute mark, you'll hear the narrator (unknown) that claims Grimes and Reese had been hired.

So they are most likely the ones who leaked the news to Troy Dooly, without confirmation.

So where did they get the information from? The only one that makes any sense would be Tarun Trikha. Though it would be up to Mr. Pat Dejour to reveal that.

So the message in September in which Don Traurig, supposedly relaying message from Tarun Trikha asking members to NOT call the attorneys to verify is very self-serving.

More Weasel Talk on Kaskus from TVI Express supporters

I don't speak Indonesian, so I use Google Translate to browse a few pages in Kaskus.us, the largest Indonesia web forum, where a healthy debate about TVI Express has been ongoing. What's not so healthy, however, are a bunch of sorry excuses offered by TVI Express supporters they offer up to "counter" the various facts illustrating the scam known as TVI Express.

I don't claim to know the nuances of Indonesia language, but it's clear plenty of TVI Express supporters, such as Rudy Phan (tviexpressdollar) are using WEASEL LOGIC to counter facts and logic.

For example, when confronted with the fact that TVI Express is illegal in Georgia, USA, their reply can be summarized as "that's only 1 state out of 50 states in the USA". What they will not discuss: Why would TVI Express be legal in the OTHER 49 states, and just be illegal in Georgia? Is Georgia's law that different? Scam is scam, no matter how you dissect it.

When confronted with the news that Muslim council of Aceh Province in Indonesia has declared TVI Express "haram" (unclean), their reply can be summarized as "that's only one province in Indonesia" and "the local TVI Express rep must have explained it wrong". No supporter bothered analyzing the actual decision, on WHY TVI Express is haram: it is a money game, pure and simple.

When confronted with the fact that TVI Express is NOT in London, but still claims to be "headquartered in London", Rudy Phan / tviexpressdollar posted supposed "rebuttal" of that fact, claiming that Heathrow is really a part of London, and there is no such thing as "London city limits". Mr. Phan, people who live in Tangerang must be surprised to find that according to you, they actually live IN Jakarta, not Tangerang, just because the International airport serving Jakarta is closer to Tangerang.

When confronted with the fact that TVI Express does NOT have a MLM license in Indonesia, Rudy Phan came up with an explanation that TVI Express is NOT MLM, but rather some sort of a new franchising that has SOME aspects of MLM. However, there are a dozen different refrences on TVI Express website referring to itself as network marketing or MLM, thus making Rudy Phan a liar, and violating TVI Express Ethical Marketing rules.

When confronted with fact that TVI Express had presented a misleading quote from Warren Buffett that seem to imply TVI Express is owned by Warren Buffett, Rudy Phan (and plenty of others) claimed that TVI Express made no such claim, and Rudy Phan went as far as accusing me of invented the accusation. However, references can be found ALL OVER THE INTERNET that TVI Express supporters claimed that TVI Express was either invested in or is owned by Warren Buffett (and sometimes, Sir Richard Branson as well).

TVI Express supporters simply ASSUMED themselves to be right, and everybody else to be wrong, and focus on the aspects of "inconvenient" facts they can discredit. If there's nothing to discredit, they will invent something, as illustrated above, even when there are easily found facts to the contrary. They lie.

You know what this sound like? Deniers. Deniers simply refuse to accept facts. They will try to find fault with everything contrary to their position, by assuming their own position is right.

The most famous deniers are the holocaust deniers. These are the people who denies that Holocaust of the Jews actually happened during WW2. They claim the holocaust never happened, or did not occur to the extent that the Jews claimed. Evidence proving the Holocaust was "manufactured" (by the Jews, of course). Testimony was "coerced" or "faulty memory". They refuse to account for the OVERWHELMING amount of evidence, claiming it's a global conspiracy.

Another famous group of deniers would be the evolution deniers, also known as creationists, who believe the Biblical version of creation: it only took 6 days, and earth is only a few thousand years old. Science? They got it all wrong. Fossils? Don't mean nothing. Evolution? Crackpot theory. Why? The Bible, of course.

TVI Express supporters are basically denying every bit of truth out there, or trying to negotiate the fact and hope it will go away. It's illegal here? It's still legal there. TVI Express not in London? Expand "London". TVI Express MLM? I say TVI Express no MLM (even though TVI Express calls itself MLM). Just like the other deniers, they refuse to accept the OVERWHELMING amount of evidence indicating that TVI Express is a scam.

The old saying goes: Where there is smoke, there is fire. The smoke is now chokingly thick (over a dozen countries investigating, supposed leader Tarun Trikha gone from advisory board, trip redemption problems, TVI Express charging fees for "free" trips, no transparency of officers or owners, no real payout in real money, and much much more)  Yet TVI Express supporters are STILL claiming there is no heat and no fire.

What's next? What other lies will TVI Express supporters tell just to hang on to their dreams?

TVI Express Opens CIS office in middle of nowhere?

TVI Express claims to be opening an office in CIS on December 9, 2010, in Almaty Towers, Almaty, Kazakhstan. However, they are playing that address trick AGAIN: no room number, no floor number, points at a huge building that can't possibly only hold TVI Express.

If you search for Almaty Towers, there is indeed at the Koktem-3 Microdistrict, but it's a pair of skyscrapers. This shows the exact same pattern TVI Express did in London: they got a tiny office (or a virtual office) in Marble Arch Tower in London for a few months, moved out, and claimed "headquartered in London" ever since. Their former London address (and their current "Heathrow" address) have no floor number, no room number, just points to the front-door.

Also consider the following facts:
  • TVI Express is already under investigation in Tajikstan, member of CIS.
  • TVI Express is already under investigation in Georgia, former member of CIS, and a nearby neighbor.
  • The administrative center of CIS is in Minsk, Berulrussia, NOT Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Therefore, the implication is they chose a remote corner of CIS to open a branch to AVOID attention, not to provide better service.

More TVI Express Problems in Europe

Facebook complaints of TVI Express shows that TVI Express have apparently abandoned Europe due to mounting legal pressure in multiple countries (Hungary, Kazahkstan, Georgia, Spain, Germany...) and is concentrating on Africa and Southeast Asia which apparently had not gotten the message.

See this message:
Komlósi
Dear Citizens of India! Can anyone provide information as to the operation of tviexpress india? Here in Europe is close to 1 year of not working. We can not access the money. Access has been eliminated. Abolished the company's travel portal. Not be able to travel. Anywhere. Several tens of thousands of country people can not do anything in Europe. The head of TVI Express stopped the European portal . What kind of news have you? We are currently connected to the Indian center, but they do not want to deal with us. Anyone. Neither Germans nor Netherlands nor Hungarians, Romanians do not, no French ... Anyone. Its a big-big problem.

Botswana slams TVI Express again

Mmegi Online / Consumer Watchdog slams TVI Express... again.
Even the scammers from the ridiculous TVI Express pyramid scheme are back at it again.  When we've written about this pointless rip-off before we've even had criticism from people in the pyramid in Botswana, including a local preacher, saying we are defaming an honest scheme that helps people better themselves.  But these have been no more than liars desperate to prop up their wing of the pyramid.  (Q. Do pyramids have wings?  A. Only when they're flying from the authorities.)  TVI Express has been declared a scam in Australia and was recently shut down in the US state of Georgia.  What's left of them elsewhere in the world is under investigation by pretty much every regulator.

Even more idiocy from remaining TVI Express North America members Kaspi and Jackson

Kaspi and Jackson, who runs a TVI Express member website called IncreaseMyMonthlyIncome. They've published some crazy claims before, such as claiming a TVI Express convention in the Florida, US in 3 months even though TVI Express has no announcement doing so. Today, they released even MORE unconfirmed information, which is just... idiotic.

They claim that their upline (the new one, since the old one quit after getting a "cease and desist" from state of Georgia) ...

Darren Aikens TVI Presidential in the United States today had a webinar with quest speaker Aknon, who is the current TVI Express Barrister of Marketing.

Do they even know what a "barrister" is? A barrister is what the Brits call a LAWYER or attorney. What the **** is a "lawyer of marketing"? What sort of a lawyer is he that won't even give his full name? And where does he practice law? India? VP of marketing or president of marketing, I can believe. LAWYER OF MARKETING? Are they kidding me!?!?!?!

And then here's the bombshell:

Aknon has been Barrister of Marketing for one month

Then there's the weasel paragraph (bold sentence was bolded by me):

TVI has had to make some minor adjustments in other countries in order to fully comply with regulations. They have all been completed and now do not have any issues in these countries. TVI is now focusing on the United States and if there needs to be any adjustments to fully comply it will be taken care of as quickly as possible. In order to comply with US regulations a company has to have a “retail” product. Aknon was fully aware of this and will keep US TVI members up to date with any news as it happens. He was not at all trying to dodge the issue but stated that “yes” TVI has all possible people working on making sure all regulations are going to be adhered to now and into the future.

So in other words, they KNEW ALL ALONG TVI Express is NOT legal in the US, but they kept on recruiting members any way! Can they even CITE what laws that they are trying to comply with? No! And this guy is a "barrister"?

More like bulls**tter.

More announcements from ex-TVI Patrick Dejour

Mr. Patrick Dejour, TVI Express North America, was remarkably honest about his own failure regarding TVI Express, and seems to be doing his best in spreading REAL information about TVI Express. Here's a very interesting announcement from his group:
September 12, 2010
After Full Investigative Research, the following can be Verified

After full investigative research, the following can be verified:

1) The Cease and Desist order in the state of Georgia is permanent

2) Several leaders have been identified in the state of Florida; state attorney has been contacted and a Cease and Desist order has been recommended

3) Investigative reporters propose to expose TVI Express as illegal in the state of Florida

4) Any leaders found promoting TVI Express will be subject to fines and prosecution in these states

5) RCMP in Canada have banned TVI Express

6) Tarun Trikha cannot get a Visa to enter the United States

It is estimated that TVI Express will be completely shut down within the next 60 days.
For further information:  info@tvinorthamerica.com  or call 206-350-9071
So Florida, possibly Hawaii, and Maryland may be acting upon TVI Express very soon. Remember, there is no confirmation for any of these news, as no source were cited except (1), which is supposedly witnessed by Mr. Dejour (he's the recipient).

Who's telling tall tales? Kapi and Jackson, who runs "increasemymonthlyincome", is claiming a CONVENTION in Florida in  January 2011.

Who's writing fiction, do you think? My bet is on Kaspi and Jackson, but you should decide for yourself.

Sherry Dossey, TVI Express "leader", defends her failure on Hubpages

Sherry Dossey is one of the top TVI Express leaders in the US, and when the sky came falling down (TVI Express ordered to "cease and desist" in state of Georgia), hundreds of members felt betrayed, as it was Dossey that recruited them into the scam. What was her response?

sdossey 7 weeks ago
I normally don't commit on anything negative such as this, but no one is responsible for any body loosing any money in their business but themselves. I put together a perfect system but we do not live in a perfect world so it didn't work. The system did not fail...The people failed the system and blamed me. I did everything I could do to make sure everyone made money. I told them we had to have at least 85 to 90% of the people working the business to pull everything back on track. If this had happened everyone would have been making a lot of money. These people put in $250 dollars and set back for a free ride thinking we would do all the work and they would draw big checks. At first everything worked perfect, but the bigger it grew we could not keep up with doing all the work. Only 8% of the people worked this business. A lot of the people that didn't work made money. and yes there were some that worked that got in at the end and got hurt. but nobody was responsible. You go open a Burger King and never leave your tv set to unlock the doors, how much money will you make. That is exactly what happened here. No different except it was less than $300 dollars instead of $300,000+.
I am so sorry and have taken more bad things said to me and about me than most people will in their life.
I will always believe in team work and will always help others be successful.
God Bless,
Sherry

See the problems? Even today, she refused to accept that she lead people into a scam. Just read those sentences:

"no one is responsible for any body loosing any money in their business but themselves"  -- except it wasn't a business, but a scam, and you were the recruiter.

"The system did not fail...The people failed the system and blamed me" -- of course they blamed you... you recruited them and were their upline.

"I told them we had to have at least 85 to 90% of the people working the business to pull everything back on track" -- even now she doesn't understand that a business have to SELL SOMETHING to non-members, not just recruit. Recruit, recruit, and recruit means pyramid scheme.

Her explanation of the failure is "blame it all on the people who refuse to further participate in a scam".

TVI Express supporters makes unsubstantiated claims of legitimacy... again

Increasemymonthlyincome.com, a.k.a. travelventuresinternational.net, ran by two TVI Express members, continue to push the scam despite being served a "cease and desist" letter in state of Georgia.

Their most recent announcement went as far as claiming a US convention in January 2011, and US call center in 2012 (located in Florida).  (see link)

Then they claimed that no less than THREE lawfirms (up from just 1 named before in Utah) is working on how to make TVI Express complaint with US laws.

However, a lot of the statements are just plain... weasel. Here are the problems.

1) No such announcement of US convention was available on TVI Express website. So it is NOT an official announcement or an official convention.

2) No such listing on the community calendar on TVI Express website (embedded Google Calendar). There is NOTHING listed for January 2011. NADA. Thus, it is NOT a community event either.

3) Call center in... FLORIDA? Makes absolutely NO SENSE. American call centers are usually located in the CENTRAL time zone (usually Colorado) so it can provide service to all four timezones (Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern) for maximum hours in all cases. Locating call center in Florida basically cuts service to western regions by nearly half.

4) Putting a call center on US soil means TVI Express would be subject to US law, and there is NO WAY TVI Express can comply with US Federal law (FTC regulations) regarding network marketing and keep the present package. You'd have to tear down the whole thing and start over.

5) In one post the call center is coming in 2012. In a different post they claim it is coming in 2011. What is going on? Can they even get their own facts straight?

6) They never bothered to name the lawfirms referenced. The source of the original claim that the Utah lawfirm was retained came from an upline, and CANNOT be corroborated by any other evidence. Reliability of such information is low.

7) They weasel out of their claim of convention by stating it is subject to change. HELLO! January is only a few months away!

Based on the statements on their own website, and history of lies told by various TVI Express supporters, esp. Tarun Trikha, the reliability of the announcement is low to none.

Wow, someone is denouncing TVI Express on... Craigslist?

See for yourself, and whoever you are, thanks for the link to my hub.

"TRUTH #1: Australia and United States, after China, have acted legally against TVI Express. China have declared TVI Express as pyramid scheme back in June 2009, and have arrested and convicted many as fraudsters.
Australia issued restraining order in May 2010 against 3 members to stop them from promoting TVI Express, and in September 2010 state of Georgia in the United States issued a cease and desist order against North American branch of TVI Express, a copy of the order is included to the right."
