Australian Federal Court had previously declared TVI Team Oz, the trio promoting TVI Express in Australia and New Zealand, guilty of promoting a pyramid scheme. It had just handed down the penalty: fine of $200000 Australian dollars (90K, 80K and 30K respectively) against the three members.
The court rejected one member's claim that she should not be fined because she is merely a victim.
The court also rejected another member's claim that she was not "warned" that pyramid schemes are illegal.
Apparently the third member was smart enough to shut up and make things even worse.
TVI Express scam exposed, lies busted, truth revealed. What TVI Express and members do NOT want you to know. No marketing, no recruiting, just information, analysis, and commentary.

The Cheerful TVI Express Denial-ist
Recently a certain "Bilyonaryo" started posting comments on my TVI Express expose hubs. His IP address traces back to a Korean ISP. He's all nice and positive, "you write good stuff", he goes, but it's clear he didn't read any of them, because he posted this:
Mind you, I already gave him links to my "News Your TVI Express Upline will never tell you", where TVI Express members were arrested, TVI Express denounced as pyramid scheme, and so on and so forth.
Yet he says that only individual members of TVI Express was prosecuted as criminals, not TVI Express itself.
For a moment, I was going to retort "What is the difference?!" Then I realized he's trying to use the "few bad apples" argument, that a few individuals can abuse the system, but the system itself, he will claim, is innocent. Fortunately, I do have references pointing the other way:
The Australia Federal Court says TVI Express is a pyramid scheme:
It's amazing what sort of contrived excuses will TVI Express supporters come up with to "debate" whether TVI Express is a scam... However, this is one of the 13 tricks I've identified earlier: "It's the individual's fault, because it cannot be the system's fault". Seen it before, albeit not to this extent. Usually it's used as post-facto justification, like: blame all my downlines for the failure. However, this one use it to DENY that TVI Express was a scam at all. Hah!
If it's not a scam, then it wouldn't have been banned in China, Namibia, Lesotho, USA, and so on.

Mom's Marketing? Another Spamticle site reviving Zombie TVI Express Video Spam
Spamticle sites are all over the Internet, all claims to have an unique angle on something. Here's another network marketing blog aimed at moms working at home. Too bad they are promoting the TVI Express SCAM!
Who is Dwayne Pyle, self-proclaimed "marketing visionary"? This is from his own website:
What's interesting is the linked to video was only very recently uploaded: October 31st, 2011.
In the video, Mr. Dwayne Pyle was quoted stating:
"TVI Express has been around a few years, and is a company with integrity. So any one who say this is a scam is probably somebody won't don't know how to leverage..."
Can you then explain why TVI Express was issued a "cease and desist" by State of Georgia, Mr. Pyle?
How about named on "Scam Alert" by ABC2 News of Maryland back in 2010?
You, Mr. Dwayne Pyle, has a very stupid vision, where scam is a good business opportunity. Now that Australia has formally declared TVI Express as a pyramid scheme and CONVICTED three TVI Express reps as pyramid scheme scammers, it just proves you are full of ****.

NEWSFLASH: TVI Express officially convicted as pyramid scheme in Australia
telegraph.com.au reports:
TVI Express a pyramid scam, Federal Court finds
The Federal Court has found Tina Aroha Brownlee (left), Lualhati "Teddi" Jutsen and David Graeme Scanlon promoted a pyramid selling scheme called TVI Epxress. This picture comes from the now-defunct TVI Team Oz website.
IF it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That adage has been confirmed by the Federal Court in a judgment which finds a Sydney woman and two others flogging a supposed discount travel and accommodation deal were really running a pyramid-selling scam.
Justice John Nicholas also found Lualhati "Teddi" Jutsen, Tina Aroha Brownlee and David Graeme Scanlon -- as promoters of a scheme called TVI Express -- breached the sections of the Trade Practices Act relating misleading and deceptive conduct.

Consumer Watch Botswana Did Radio Show on TVI Express, still no proof of legitimacy
http://consumerwatchdogbw.blogspot.com/2011/08/on-air-with-tvi-express.html
I had a very amusing experience on radio this morning. After last week's coverage of the TVI Express pyramid scheme, when I reported on it being illegal in Namibia, Georgia, Indonesia and under aggressive investigation in South Africa and Australia, some of the local TVI Express people were very cross indeed and demanded a right of reply.
So they got one this morning. However given that what I'd said was entirely true, their right of reply wasn't unconditional. I was there this morning to respond to some of their comments.
They genuinely seemed confused about what they wanted to say. They described themselves at various points as "investors"and then "not investors", "employees", "directors", "distributors" and "members" of TVI Express.
At one point one fo them said that the Bank of Namibia was considering changing their ban in Namibia but changed the subject quickly when two of us pointed out that we'd contacted the Bank who had denied any such thing...

Deceptive Auction: Trying to Auction Off TVI Express Membership
Someone in New Zealand tried to auction off TVI Express membership by NOT mentioning the name and use a photo of Woodman Estates in Australia. ( http://www.trademe.co.nz/Travel-events-activities/Accommodation/New-Zealand/Northland/auction-362650788.htm )
If you read the rest of the ad it's clear it's a listing for TVI Express, a scam that's already being prosecuted by ACCC (the Ausssie consumer protection agency). In fact, someone remarked so in the comments.
What a crock!

Kas Pedersen is a Weasel Coach Who Argues with NO FACTS
Kas Pedersen posts some sort of website where he claims to teach you about "legit network marketing companies", and one of them according to him, is "TVI Express".
http://workwithkasperpedersen.com/tvi-express-scam-%E2%80%93-is-it-possible-to-make-money-with-tvi-express/
What's really interesting is he does exactly what he accuses the others are doing: keyword spamming
Then he claims TVI Express is not a scam. Based on what? His own opinion.
He's the real scammer.
I tried to post a comment on his website and his comment button doesn't work. That's how much of a weasel he really is.

"By now “TVI Express scam” is a search term getting pretty ok traffic, and that’s why website owners will post articles with TVI Express scam in their titles, not to harm the company but simply to get their website to rank better in the search engines."Gee, what's that in your title? "TVI Express Scam -- it is possible to make money with TVI Express" WEASEL! A two-face weasel! Trying to play BOTH SIDES!
Then he claims TVI Express is not a scam. Based on what? His own opinion.
I been in network marketing for more than 8 years by now and know what I am talking about. I have seen MLM companies come and go, but TVI Express is here to stay for a long time to come.Did he mention that TVI Express is DEAD in China, US, Australia, and most of Africa? Nope. Did he mention that TVI Express is accused of fraud in a dozen countries? Nope.
The TVI Express Scam accusations are generated by lazy folks who just don’t understand what network marketing is all about. Are going to find out??He just dismissed everybody's argument by lumping them with the excuse "they don't understand us".
He's the real scammer.

More Irrelevant Defense of TVI Express
Someone else decides to post a 'defense' of TVI Express one of my hubs about TVI Express Scam:
http://hubpages.com/hub/TVI-Express-Lies-exposed
Comment was reproduced below (my comments are in RED)
Amazing, isn't it? Two different psychological disorders in a single sentence!

I CYCLE OUT $10K WEEKLY TVI
Notice that the URL goes to http://www.tviexprss.com/ which is not even the right URL! This guy can't even spell!
Hi, brother don't abuse tvi express. we all are really earning a lot of money through tvi express business. i started this business 14 months ago. my direct sign-ups were 9. and now my genealogy is in auto mod and im earning 10k dollars every week and also a lot of residual income.
And how does this prove it's legitimate? It doesn't. Notice he only talked about recruiting, not about SELLING anything. What sort of business sells nothing?
i feel instead of talking negative abt such a great opportunity, you must join tviexpress and grab the success asap. here in my city there are not a lot of ppl in tvi, but because of the global signups of tvi, im also earning automatically :).
Still no explanation on why the business is legitimate, just that it makes money... By recruiting people NOT in the US. NOT BY SELLING ANYTHING.
i feel so great that my life has changed so rapidly. now i also purchased the stuffs which i used to think ill never be able to buy. there are negative points to talk about tviexpress, but same goes with the top worlds network companys.
The "top worlds network companys" (sic) are not getting shut down all over the world like TVI Express. TVI Express is already dead in China, Australia, various countries in Europe and Asia.... The list goes on and on. Those are facts, not merely insults.
i dont care about 10 people talking shit about the company and me, cuz i know im financially much more stable now then they can just dream of.
If he "dont care about 10 people talking shit", why did he post a comment defending TVI Express? Talk about schizophrenia!
And did I ever talk **** about him? No. I don't even know who he is, until he posted the comment.
This guy is basically saying "I made money so I don't care if it's a scam." And he felt so involved in TVI Express, he decided that any "insult" against TVI Express is against him personally. That's a symptom of paranoia.
Amazing, isn't it? Two different psychological disorders in a single sentence!
IP Address traces to a company in Texas, but it's likely hacked. That ain't even American English.

Old News: TVI Express was sued and banned in Australia since May 2010
If TVI Express was charged as a pyramid scheme in Australia, what are the chances it is legal anywhere else? Hmmm?
This leads it to be banned in almost all real professional MLM communities.
http://blogquik.com/banned-programs/tvi-express-now-banned-in-our-community/
TVI Express must be getting desperate. Recently there were a resurgence of "rebuttals" where they repeat a few of the 13 excuses, such as:
* you're just being negative
Oh, really? Reporting FACTS is negative? Why don't you try to disprove the facts? Any body?
* you must be a failure to be envious of our success
And how is that related to TVI Express being a scam?
* you just don't understand us
So explain it to me, refute the stuff I presented with VERIFIABLE INFORMATION.
So far, nada. There's a few people who tried to claim they went on a certain trip, which somehow proves that EVERYTHING I said was false. Nice try, moron.
Explain why TVI Express stole bazillion pictures? Nope. Not a thing.

Fahim in UAE writes in with a comment and question
Image via WikipediaFahim (with IP address traced to UAE), commented on my hub:If TVI Express is a scam and so called Owner/CEO Tarun Tirka is a fraud person then why is he roaming freely and continuing giving open presentations around the world. Why no authority has initiated any legal action against him and got him arrested. The interesting part about TVI Express is it is a totally INTERNATIONAL scam, but the actual scams are perpetrated by LOCAL members. Thus, only LOCAL members can be prosecuted under LOCAL laws. Remember, Tarun Trikha is not recruiting anybody. It's the LOCAL people who are recruiting. Tarun Trikha is the cheerleader who is cheering you all to jump blindly into the scam. He had not committed any crime in a country that can convict him of fraud.
And that's exactly what happened in China and Australia. China had been arresting TVI Express members since July 2009, and Australia made an example of 3 members of "TVI Team Oz" in May 2010. However, the Australian case had still NOT concluded (i.e. the 3 had NOT been convicted, merely charged, and went to court).
Perhaps Tarun Trikha is the head of the snake, but how do you prove it to the satisfaction of the law? And in what court? Do you sue TVI Express in Indian Court, perhaps? Remember, jurisdiction ends at national border. Interpol is mainly after human traffickers and drug traffickers. They are not interested in a little alleged criminal like Tarun Trikha... if it can be proven at all.
That's why it's so risky when you trust an international company... If anything happens, you are left holding the bag, so to speak.
I know many people who had used TVI Express voucher redeemed online for booking with International Hotel Chain and they are all satisfied and happy. Infact some of them have purchased another hotel voucher for their next vacation.Unfortunately, all that proves is that TVI Express CAN book some real trips. But that's about as useful as saying "I know many people who made a lot of money by investing in Bernie Madoff. In fact, some of them invested even MORE money in Bernie Madoff".
And we all know what happened to Bernie Madoff, right?

WTF?! Spam page lists everything under the sun, including TVI Express
And it's in SPANISH! (So I'll show you the English translation)
First, the title of the page is... Health, Nutrition, and Massage! So what does this have to do with TVI Express?

Scroll down or hit CTRL-F to find TVI Express
You'll find a UNICEF.ORG link in there. It is IMPLYING that TVI Express donates to UNICEF, isn't it? Except that UNICEF page disappeared in 2010!
And it still lists the OLD TVI Express address, which had not been in use since 2009!!!!!!!
And the link to that Powerpoint presentation? 404 NOT FOUND
Yet this is NOT spam or hack. This was put in by the owner. The owner used "Vidasana" as a "nickname" throughout. The URL is vidasana, the TVI Express URL was vidasana, and so on. So she (yes, she) was putting in the stuff voluntarily.
Yet there was no date.
This is bull****.
And if you look closely, you'll find the TVI Express spam in there not once, but TWICE!
DOUBLE BULL****.

More about Indonesia TVI Express Hilarity
One of the biggest problems with TVI Express main website is they have no 'product' section, because they even stated very clearly "you do not have to sell any products" in their own FAQ. So what do the Indonesian website do? They added a section called products/ services.
But what does it say? It says TVI Express sells travel!
Company engaged in the field of TRAVEL AGENT, TVI Express provides a product that is associated with SERVICE FOR TRAVELIf TVI Express sells travel, why is TVI Express Indonesia claims they do NOT sell travel? Their registered business is "computer hardware, parts, and consultancy".
Then it gets really bizarre, because one sentence don't follow the next.
TVI Express provides discount to its members, if you want to use the services of TVI EXPRESS.Okay, so I sell travel, and if I want some of the discounts, I can buy at a discount myself. Great... However, why does TVI Express FAQ #3 says "You do not need to sell any products"?
Besides, TVI Express also provides business opportunities for its members to improve Traf life, to increase revenue, in order to live well with a better quality of life.So what exactly is the business opportunity? How much travel do I have to sell to improve life?
Income earned by the members is the result of hard work has been done, with a share and sell products TVI Express International. This is where the translator fails me. I couldn't quite tell what exactly is the meaning of this sentence. Is TVI Express the product? Or is there some OTHER product you're supposed to sell for TVI Express?
Since the official tviexpress.com states "you do not have to sell any products", the only conclusion one can logically reach is TVI Express itself is the product. Or more concisely, YOU the members are the product. It's a pyramid scheme / money game where members are recruited so older members get more $$$ out.
But wait, there's more! He then posts a screenshot of an e-mail, claiming this is "proof" that you can make a reservation in TVI Express. So let's take a closer look:
Did you notice something? The email is from himself to himself. Does that prove anything? Of course not!
Furthermore Solid Trust Pay stopped doing business with TVI Express in April 2010.
Even more interesting item... TVI Express was charging $150 USD for 'taxes' in April 2010, LONG BEFORE they announced they are charging $150 for "taxes and processing fees" in June 2010!
So this guy was actually stupid enough to pay $150 for a "free" trip!
And what exactly does this prove? Nothing. He hadn't actually GONE on the trip. There's no proof of THAT. I can type this up in email easily. Since he hadn't paid that $150, it wasn't even confirmed yet, or have a booking number, or such.
But wait, there is more!
So what did this prove? This proves that Ms. Goernawan (head TVI person in Indonesia) allegedly booked a hotel room to Australia. Is there any proof to link this with TVI Express? None.
Furthermore, even if this is linked to TVI Express, all this proves is the booking system TVI Express used works. It doesn't prove that the BUSINESS MODEL TVI Express uses works at all.
One last item... The guy then pulls out the infamous "travel logos" and claim all these famous companies do business with TVI Express. Clearly this guy did not read the news out of Spain... That Marriott, Lufthansa, and one other entity sued TVI Express to stop them from using their logos or claim them as partners.
Thus, you can see that the Indonesian members of TVI Express had performed NO due diligence at all, and their uplines are telling them lies, more lies, and damn lies.

What Does a Ex-TVI Express Guy from Australia Say About TVI Express?
Do you jump into something you got excited about without "due diligence"? You really should listen to this guy:
When I was first interested in TVI Express the one thing I did not do was investigate the negatives. Yes there were articles out there with others saying to be wary mainly due to the fact that no-one could find the offices they claimed to working from and the founders were not able to be contacted. All I focused on was the positives where people, (people I did not know), were claiming they making money. He's into Pyxism now, but that's his choice.
Do I regret This? Yes, greed was driving me make my decision. The higher the amount someone said they had made the more excited I got.

Apparently, the word never got out, forcing the government to go after TVI Express in December 2010.

TVI Express Lies Around the World: Maori / New Zealand
Image via WikipediaA long while back (May 2010) I found some reference on a Maori website about TVI Express. I posted a rebuttal. It's worth revisiting, as they go after a lot of minorities by exploiting their tight-knit community "social network".Who's the Maori? Maori is a Polynesian island tribe that lives on New Zealand. Minorities usually have tight-knit social circles, and many MLMs (and scams that disguised themselves as MLMs) exploit the social network for their gains.
In this case, the poster claims to want to bring prosperity to all simply by "showing" opportunities, and "share business with". As you can guess, he neglects to mention that he's recruiting people, not to sell ANYTHING.
It generates an income by talking, showing & net-working with People,Whanau,Friends & anyone else you want to share this business with, here in Aotearoa & Over-seas.
The natural reaction with most People is to be cautious, careful, negativity & skepticism,a natural humane response,i can deal with that kai te pai,but at this stage i just want you all to have a look for your-selves and see how it works.
The benefits & Financial gain it will create for you,far out weighs the one time payment to start you off,is in my opinion over shadows the doubts & Awangawana you might have in seeing how its structured & the belief in the system that it really does work, Whanau helping Whanau & so on,for me i want to get out of this rut im in,i want to be able to not worry about paying my bills,i believe this venture in TVIexpress will help me & my Family achieve all of this, koi na ra mo naia nei, naku noa. This can be basically summed up as "it's okay to fear, just look, you want the money, I know you do. Ignore the fear. Join and make me money."

Someone Did Not Get the Message In Australia Either
Back in May 2010 Australia's ACCC consumer protection agency went after TVI Team Oz, 3 fraudsters who went after folks in Australia and New Zealand, by advertising on Facebook and other places. It's old news, and most Aussie TVI Express participants have long since moved on.
So it's rather amusing to find someone who didn't get the news... and decided to reprint a "TVI Express Opportunity" article for Australians, in January 2011
It's also tied into this TVI Express link spamming thing... Idiots who copy old TVI Express "cheerleading" articles that are out of date, misleading, and often complete lies, and republish them to pump up TVI Express's Alexa ratings.

Dismantling yet ANOTHER Rudy Phan's Tviexpressdollar.com lie: TVI Express and Ponzi scheme
Image via WikipediaRudy Phan loves to redefine truth in order to somehow prop up TVI Express. Previously he had redefined borders of London, left out a largest expense in TVI Express and use that as evidence to "prove" TVI Express can pay lots of money, claim TVI Express is halal even though he has no qualifications, claim TVI Express is NOT MLM directly against tviexpress.com wordings, claim it only takes 8 people to cycle out when it takes 14, and much more. Today, we will bust ANOTHER one of his lies: he claims TVI Express is NOT a Ponzi scheme. His article can be found here. So what are his reasons supporting his hypothesis that TVI Express is NOT a Ponzi Scheme?
First of all, we need to realize that this ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment scheme. While TVI Express is not an investment, but business network. Therefore, there are no guarantees and certainty the time when a person or when a turnover to $ 10,000.What Rudy Phan have done here is narrowed in on the words "fraudulent investment scheme", and claim "TVI Express is not investment!". Rudy Phan fails to notice that TVI Express operating model is later members funding earlier members, and that is the fundamental nature of a Ponzi scheme. Rudy Phan cannot disprove this, so he plays "word game" instead.
Furthermore, in a business transaction, you do work, you get paid. That is nature of business. You can suffer losses, fail to collect debt, bad customers, product shrinkage, and other costs, but those can be anticipated. However, what Rudy Phan said here is when you join TVI Express, you may not actually make $10000 (even if you do everything they ask of you). Is he describing a lottery or a business?

Now for some classic TVI Express rant
In May 2010, it was announced that the Australian consumer protection agency ACCC is going after Team TVI Oz, and its 3 members for promoting TVI Express in Australia, charging it as a pyramid scheme. At the time, a few Australians and New Zealanders. were "outraged" that ACCC was somehow prohibiting them from making money. Here is one such rant from "Irate Queenslander", which will be analyzed.
This paragraph does not defend TVI Express at all. It simply made a generalization: people join MLM to make money.
June 02TVI Express is NOT a SCAM!!!
To all you negative network marketers out there. This is a cold hard fact. Most people join network marketing businesses purely to make money. It does not really matter what the product is.. it is all about the right time & right place. Admit it to yourselves, if you were in the top 50 people to see a product being released via a networking strategy you would jump on board because at the end of the day everyone is trying to get out of the rat race and the promise of easy money and financial freedom is too tempting.
