Dismantling yet ANOTHER Rudy Phan's Tviexpressdollar.com lie: TVI Express and Ponzi scheme

Crane Paper Company in Dalton produces the pap...Image via WikipediaRudy Phan loves to redefine truth in order to somehow prop up TVI Express. Previously he had redefined borders of London, left out a largest expense in TVI Express and use that as evidence to "prove" TVI Express can pay lots of money, claim TVI Express is halal even though he has no qualifications, claim TVI Express is NOT MLM directly against tviexpress.com wordings, claim it only takes 8 people to cycle out when it takes 14, and much more. Today, we will bust ANOTHER one of his lies: he claims TVI Express is NOT a Ponzi scheme. His article can be found here.

So what are his reasons supporting his hypothesis that TVI Express is NOT a Ponzi Scheme?
First of all, we need to realize that this ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment scheme. While TVI Express is not an investment, but business network. Therefore, there are no guarantees and certainty the time when a person or when a turnover to $ 10,000.
What Rudy Phan have done here is narrowed in on the words "fraudulent investment scheme", and claim "TVI Express is not investment!". Rudy Phan fails to notice that TVI Express operating model is later members funding earlier members, and that is the fundamental nature of a Ponzi scheme. Rudy Phan cannot disprove this, so he plays "word game" instead.

Furthermore, in a business transaction, you do work, you get paid. That is nature of business. You can suffer losses, fail to collect debt, bad customers, product shrinkage, and other costs, but those can be anticipated. However, what Rudy Phan said here is when you join TVI Express, you may not actually make $10000 (even if you do everything they ask of you). Is he describing a lottery or a business?

So what's the second reason?
Second, Ponzi deliberately deceive by saying that is not as it is. He did not run a business buying and selling of coupons, but he said that the investment returns it is of advantage coupon business.
Again, Rudy Phan manage to avoid the essence of the Ponzi scheme: the early members get MORE than they put in. As long as MORE members (i.e. money) comes in, the Ponzi scheme can be sustained, and earlier members get out MORE than they put in. There is no 'business' at all. No "value" was added to any product through distribution or such, because there is no product, and THAT is the fundamental deception: no product, no business. Above, Rudy Phan claims TVI Express is a business, so there is already deception. Again, he plays word games by avoiding the true deception within the Ponzi scheme.

Rudy Phan claims TVI Express can pay out up to 72% of the money by citing TVIExpressFormula.com. However, that website makes the exact same mistake as Rudy Phan... They fail to count for ANY of the trips. According to them, the 7-day 6-night trips cost ZERO for TVI Express as well. That clearly CANNOT be the case. Hotels don't give away rooms for free. In fact, this is proven when TVI Express started charging another $150 USD for the trip as "taxes and processing fee". Even if the hotel tax is 15%, for 250 trip cost taxes should only be $35. So why charge $150? Where is the extra money going?

Then Rudy Phan claims TVI Express is not Ponzi scheme because if you recruit better than your upline you can "jump over" your upline and this somehow proves that it's not Ponzi because early joiners don't always profit. This ignores the fundamental nature of Ponzi... track the MONEY, not the members. In a real investment of business, money is invested or used, to make MORE money. In a Ponzi scheme or pyramid scheme, the ONLY INCOME is from more members and more join fees. How you qualify for the payout is irrelevant.

Then Rudy Phan claims that Charles Ponzi's scheme collapsed in 7 months, but TVI Express has expanded for over 2 years and supposedly is still expanding, implying that TVI Express is not Ponzi scheme. However, Rudy Phan fails to acknowledge that TVI Express has already collapsed in various countries including China, United States, Australia, South Africa, and many other places. All enrollment data are from company statements which CANNOT be verified. Furthermore, Mr. Ponzi is limited in a single city (in fact, a neighborhood of a single city) and thus he is easy to catch. TVI Express spread across the world with Internet and is basically playing hide-and-seek with the authorities. Illegal in China? Go to Malaysia and Indonesia. Illegal in India? Go to Phillipines and Brunei. Illegal in the United States? Go to South America. Illegal in Europe? Go to Africa. Illegal now in Africa, now where?

Finally, Rudy Phan trots out the "if it paid, it must be legit" fallacy, claiming thousands in Indonesia had been paid and bought cars, again ignoring the fact that pyramid and Ponzi schemes can pay plenty of people and remains illegal. Bernard Madoff paid thousands of people billions of dollars for a decade. Now regulators are getting a lot of it back. Just recently one guy's estate returned like 7 BILLION dollars.

Every one of Rudy Phan's "reasons" for why TVI Express is NOT a Ponzi Scheme turned out to be false or misleading or irrelevant.

To summarize:

Lie #1: TVI Express is a business, not an investment opportunity, so it can't be a Ponzi scheme which are investment frauds

Truth: Ponzi scheme describes a system where the latercomers fund the early goers. It doesn't have to be only about investments.

Lie #2: TVI Express did not lie, so it can't be fraud

Truth: TVI Express lied about everything. It's not in London (unless you choose to redefine "London" like Rudy Phan did). It simply left it up to its distributors, such as Mr. Rudy Phan here, to lie.

Lie #3: TVI Express can pay out 72% of every dollar because it DOES take in more money than it pays out, and that makes it legitimate business, not a Ponzi scheme.

Truth: Rudy Phan cites a bogus site called TVIExpressFormula, which ignored the costs of the trips! You don't really think the cost of those trips are actually FREE even to TVI Express, do you?

Lie #4: You can jump over your upline in TVI Express so it can't be a Ponzi because early joiner don't always "win"

Truth: You can only jump over your upline by recruiting your own downlines faster than he does. So your downlines are feeding you. This proves nothing.

Lie #5: Ponzi's scheme collapsed in 7 months. TVI Express is going strong after 2 years, so it can't be a Ponzi scheme.

Truth: Ponzi is easy to catch, being 100 years earlier, only in one neighborhood of one city. TVI Express is harder to catch in modern information age by operating across borders, but it has been outlawed or under investigation in a dozen or more countries.

Lie #6: TVI Express pay a thousand people in Indonesia $10000 USD, so it can't be a Ponzi scheme

Truth: Ponzi scheme can last a decade and pay BILLIONS of dollars. Just look at Bernard Madoff.
