TVI Express busted in Australia

EDIT: As pointed out by EmJay07, I will add   UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The bust is not permanent... yet.

Australia consumer protection agency ACCC has obtained court order to stop TVI Express "distributors" from recruiting through Facebook, among other means, called it "pyramid scheme".
"The TVI Express scheme is promoted by the respondents through various websites including the site www.tviteamoz.com and the TVI Express Oz group on the site www.facebook.com. People who wish to participate in the scheme are required to pay a membership fee of $330. Once an individual has paid the $330, they receive a ‘travel voucher’ and the opportunity to receive commission payments for recruiting other people into the scheme.

The ACCC understands that Ms Jutsen, Ms Brownlee and Mr Scanlon had planned to hold presentations across Australia and New Zealand this week to promote the scheme. The orders obtained by the ACCC will prevent these presentations from going ahead. If the individuals ignore these orders, they risk being in contempt of court."

Kasey,

No offence intended, but I think you should update yourselves about MLM Industry a bit more instead of being pretentious of knowing everything and also about TVI Express-ACCC case instead of copying and pasting incomplete information from the websites. If you care for truth, you must write the complete story or update it or not write at all.

Anyway, my two cents..

This is for all those people who think that TVI Express is banned in Australia.

TVI Express is NOT banned in Australia!

ACCC - Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, without making confirmations about the facts or even without initiating any contacts with the company (TVI Express) made allegations on three TVI Express members (not the company) in Australia

And people, it is not the first time this has happened. ACCC is well known for doing that. ACCC initiated such investigations in the past as well against some of the major names in MLM industry, namely - Amway, ACN and many more.

As was expected, ACCC LOST every such case they filed. What have you got to say about it?

As far as TVI Express is concerned, TVI Express hired a Sydney based professional attorney to render their assistance to these three individuals and for your knowledge, all the court orders have been EVADED.

Just a Tip (take it or not) - Little information is always more toxic than NO information.

Yeah, that's what *they* would say if they got hit by a court injunction to stop operation.

A few things you did not mention:

ACN not only cooperated fully with the ACCC investigation, it also opened their books for audit. Furthermore, ACN also have a code of conduct, an integrity panel that does ethics investigations of alleged violations, and one major difference: ACN has real products to sell, and does NOT pay to recruit.

As for the "evaded" court orders, they only apply to freezing of assets and eWallets. TeamTVIOz is STILL prohibited from promoting TVI Express in Australia, and that is the main point of the injunction.
